Radriel Tayloreth—A Reaper Elf with silver hair and eyes that shone with a mixture of gold and red, and Roxul Inudraga—a boy with shining gold hair and eyes.

Recently, the two boys had set off from the Ulgrasia Republic; their place of birth; both for reasons that the other could only barely understand, and found themselves making their way to... who-knows-where.

In all honesty, the two had no particular plans for where they were headed or what they would do when they got there. The only thing they had to go off of was the mindset of "get stronger", and not much past that.

As the two walked Roxul, while doing his best to somewhat acclimate to Radriel's unconsciously fast, impatient pace, spoke out to the Elf ahead of him, "So, what's the first stop? I say we pop into Sarion—"

"No." However, he was unceremoniously cut off. "You've already got a weapon, right? So there's nothing to stop for."

"But, Sarion specializes in Elemental Magic... Isn't that, like, your thing? I haven't seen you use your Spirit once besides... Anyway, I kinda figured it was your thing..."

The two had already been approaching the Dynasty's territory, already seeing one of its Kingdom's walls not too far away, growing closer with each step. Radriel felt his chest tighten and his pace slow with each stride he made.

Noticing how he had passed the Elf slightly, Roxul halted as well, turning to him in confusion. He blurted out the first thing that his brain had thought of, "What's up? You need to go or something?".

However, as he noticed the slightly troubled expression on Radriel's face, along with the sheen of sweat on his forehead and the vice-like grip he had on the straps of his bag, that train of thought immediately faded from his mind.

"Uh... Radriel?" Once he saw the way Radriel was mumbling to himself, lips flapping rapidly and words(?) falling out of his mouth inaudibly and unintelligibly, he scrambled for some kind of solution. "Alright, uhhh... You know what? Forget Sarion!"

He hurriedly took off his bag, put it on the ground and fished around inside of it, pulling out a rolled up map, "Yeah, who needs stupid Sarion? We can just head somewhere else— No biggie!"

Roxul laid the map on the ground and hunched over, swiftly scanning over its surface, focusing on the area not too far past Sarion's borders.

"How about here?" A second later, his finger quickly touched down on a point on the map where an X had been drawn. "I've been looking into Mystic Arts and Battlewill for a while now, and while I was at it I found this little nation called the Stinada Republic that apparently specializes in both! If we head there, we could get started on figuring those out. Which means we'll be one step closer to our goal of getting strong enough to fight Demon Lords, yeah?"

It seemed like, as Roxul talked, Radriel's mind cleared of whatever jumbled thoughts he had been thinking about. He nodded his head in agreement, "Yeah. Sorry about that..."

"Don't sweat it. I totally get it! And, uh..." Roxul bent down slightly, waving a finger towards himself, asking Radriel to lean his ear in. Radriel confusedly did so, "Don't tell anyone I told you this, but I hear that Sarion has some really smelly plants growing around the place. So it's totally not somewhere that the two of us should be headed..."

"Pfft-" Radriel sputtered before he could stop himself. "That was awful..."  he said with a hand covering his mouth, attempting to hide the smile on his face.

"Come on, you're smiling! It was good--"

"We've got a long walk ahead of us. We best get going." Radriel interrupted him, walking past him.
