After a pissed-off ant Predacon named "Antleer" attacks the Maximals, especially Tigatron, he wants out of the Beast Wars for good because of his friend's death.
Then, Riptar teaches Tigatron the "Laws of the Jungle", as a lesson to him. To no avail, though.
Later, he regains his fighting spirit, and he's back in the Beast Wars.
