As the golden rays of dawn delicately brushed against her face, she gently stirred from the depths of slumber. The warmth of the sun's tender touch infused her surroundings with a sense of tranquility and promise, coaxing her towards consciousness. She opened her eyes and found herself bathed in the ethereal glow of the morning, captivated by the beauty that greeted her at the break of day. The sunlight gently filtered through the translucent curtains, casting a soft halo around her room. The muted hues danced across the fabric, weaving a tapestry of shimmering tranquility. The exquisite play of light and shadow created a sanctuary filled with serenity, enveloping her senses like a soothing balm.

As she savored the peaceful ambiance, a symphony of birdsong drifted in through the open window, serenading her awakening. Each melodious note, carried on the wings of the wind, seemed to harmonize perfectly with the vivid landscape unfolding before her. The birds, awakened by the sun's tender caress, presented her with an orchestra of nature, their melodies resonating deep within her soul. Slowly rising from her bed, she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and wonder. Grateful for the gift of a brand-new day, she marveled at the way the sun and its radiant tenderness awakened a symphony of color in the world around her. Every hue seemed more vibrant, more alive, as if the sun had woven its magic into the very fabric of reality.

She turned her head and smiled knowing that her devil is awake doing her morning routine, which is getting her strawberries that she has been craving for ever since she got pregnant with their second child. She gently caressed her belly and began to hummed her lullaby that she always starts with, the moment she opens her eyes. She then turned away as she glanced at the opened window, as she delve within her labyrinth of memories. She began to tell her story to her unborn child, a story that sets after war.

Eva's POV;

Five years has passed since we won the war. The prince and all of his demons, perished away as the world has finally revived from his corruption. Finally the people accept the fact that devils are truly meant to be loved, as the war showcased them the truth, when they was saved by our intertwined forces. The king expressed his gratitude for us being there to assist, he thank us dearly, as he grant us everything that we asked for. The city, the people and the demon hunters, all bowed to us the moment we all walked across. All of them were celebrating, as the wall that divided us, has finally crumbled. It was a day to remember, a day that will carve within our mind.

Although after all these years, after everything that happened we weren't able to process your grandfather's decision back then when he decided to leave us, but his letter that your grandmother still holds every time we visit her explains everything. She didn't knew that he was meant to rule his realm, she was furious, yet she couldn't hate him. She realized that his realm needed to be guarded, but her only grief was him leaving her so easily without talking about it.

She held his letter for dear life, as there was a hope that still ignites within her heart, and that hope was he will one day return back to her. Your grandfather felt guilty for his actions, he thought that he will never be forgiven, but Suriel assured him, that it wasn't his fault. He kept his promise however, he was always there to check on her, and taking care of everything. Mom and auntie Cadriel always visited her, and her parents did moved in, as they kept her company all the time.

Even with her lamented state, she didn't remained sad much longer, instead she pushed herself away from that state as she tried to never shed a tear in front of her parents and daughters. After two months, with the help of everyone, she returned back to normal. As such, your daddy insisted to get married as soon as possible. She didn't want to wait much longer knowing that your grandma is finally healed. Of course Elzi her friend, as promised arranged our wedding, which turned to be fabulous and memorable. Little that everyone knew, I was pregnant with your sister during that time, actually I was pregnant during the war, but due to the panic and well the fight, I hadn't felt the symptoms or anything. Only later the symptoms came to me. But after all that, we were happily blessed with your sister Irin, and now we are waiting for you my darling. Oh I forgot to mention to you, we live closer to your grandmother, your daddy insisted to be closer just in case something happens.
