Paige pov
I enter the party and I see stacy in the corner drinking I make my way to her as I was not in mood to talk about any business topic i sit beside her
Paige : hello miss pretty
(I say looking at her )
Stacy : you oh when did you come
(She says turning towards me)
Paige : just now
I say taking a drink from the waiter
Stacy : oh you know what happened jake freaking Heineken talked to me and he said I was hot and beautiful
She said excitedly I looked at her smiling
Paige : he said the truth
(I say checking her from top to bottom)
Stacy : yea yea but getting
compliment from him is different it feels so good i want it everyday.
(I look at her confusedly )
Paige : what?
(Stacy shrugs )
Stacy : i just want him
(I chuckle)
Paige : crazy in love
I shake my head smiling i sip my drink and look around my eyes stopping at the same person who doesn't forget to give me some type of feelings
Mr. Daniel he was talking with other ceo's I look at him seeing how hot and handsome he looks He was my enemy but I can't deny the fact he was my first love who i always admired but became rivals in this business game i flinch when stacy shakes me i look at her and glare
Paige : what?
(I ask confused)
Stacy : I was calling you from a while you are so lost I see you looking at mr. Arnoult hmm
(She smirks and nudges me)
I shrug it and look at him again and see him looking at me we look into eachother eyes and i break the eye contact, i feel some type of way i can't explain everytime we make eye contact I look at somewhere else when Mr. Koie comes to me
Mr. Koie : hello ms. William
(He says sitting beside him )
Paige : hello mr.koie
(I say politely)
Mr.koie : can we talk about the project if you don't mind.
(I think for a while I don't have anything to do here atleast complete this meeting here and take rest tomorrow )
Paige : yea sure
Mr.koie : here is the project let me know if you accept it.
(He gives me his laptop and I go through the project i sigh)
Paige : sorry mr.koie i can't accept it
Mr.koie : ms. William you might loose the biggest project for your company
(He says angryly)
Paige : I don't see anything that can increase my company with this project infact I can see many mistakes in this i can't risk my company sorry.
(I say giving him his laptop)
