Chapter 7

Masarap naman ang inorder ko na pagkain pero tila hindi ako naubusog — siguro kasi itong si Madison ay panay hawak sa hita ko sa ilalim ng lamesa. Dampi at pahapyaw lang naman pero hindi ko alam kung sadya ba ito or what.

I just don't want to react baka sabihin ang feeling ko masyado.

Kaya hinayaan ko nalang.

"Saan ka sa Canada tumira Vana?" Tanong ni Olivia sakin.

Mukhang umpisa na ng interview ko with The Rank Girls. Actually ineexpect ko na ito - mabuti nalang wala si Agatha. Kontrapelo sya sakin even if i didn't do anything wrong to her.

Napatingin ako sa napakasweet na si Olivia. "Mm sa Toronto kami tumira. Sa may east york."

Olivia is interested. "With your parents or are you alone —"

"With my sister and her wife." Straight forward ko na sagot. Wala naman akong dapat itago sa mga taong kausap ko. "My nephew and niece."

"Oh are they lesbian couples?" This time it's Leslie.

"Yes they are." Nakangiti ko na sagot because i can't myself but being proud of them. "And i love them so much."

Wala namang judgement sa mga mukha ng kausap ko.

"How cute." Sabi ni Olivia. "My parents are lesbians too."

I look at Olivia in surprise. "Ay talaga?"

"Yes Vana." Tumango tango nyang sabi. "The most lovely and amazing moms in the world."

"Your mother stole my mommy's first love." Did i hear a playful tone from Madison's voice.

Natawa si Leslie at hinawakan ang kamay ko. "All our parents - including mine are lesbian too."

Wait, did i just found my people?

"Hey, wala kinuha ang Mommy Sari ko from Aunt Gold. Mommy Clay chose her." Nakakunot ang noo na sagot ni Olivia kay Madison.

"Let them be." Bulong ni Leslie sakin. "Their mothers had long story and history."

So nakinig nalang ako sa mga usapan nila about everything - I noticed that Olivia is very bubbly, she is the ideal woman talaga. Sobrang ganda na ni Olivia plus down to earth pa.

At si Leslie is neutral - I like her character na parang pwede sya sa lamig, pwede sa init. Leslie is nice, sweet and very caring. But the whole time na kumakain kami ay hindi sila nag-uusap ni Madison. So confirm na may past sila?

Medyo nakaramdam ako ng selos.

Madison is Madison. She rarely and barely say a word. Kung hindi pa sya tatanungin ay hindi sya sasagot - she is truly a woman of few words. I guess that's what attracted me to her — all about Madison is mysterious..

And i hate it.

Because it only means, Madison has the power to hurt and torn me into pieces.

And In my understanding sa kwentuhan nila ay nainlove sa iisang babae ang kambal na sina Ms. Gold na mother ni Madison at Ms. Sari na mother naman ni Olivia.

"Kaya i promise myself na hindi ako magkakagusto sa taong magugustuhan mo." Sabi ni Olivia kay Madison.

Uminom si Madison ni tubig. "Same, I don't want to experience what happened to our mothers." Then i feel her heavy stare in my face. "Gusto ko na ako naman ang piliin na hindi nagawa ni Tita Clay kay Mommy Gold."

Sino ba ang hindi gustong piliin?

"Oh wait — " Sumulyap si Olivia sya sa Ice Queen. "Sa East York ka din tumira dati diba  Madison?"
