kalani kissed her teeth as her eyes scanned over her old friend's message. "man why's he always tryna get in my business" she sighed, handing her 'boyfriend' his phone back.
"so you and jude then?" filly asked, curious about the pair's history.
"no, not me and jude then" she huffed. he hummed a 'sure', sounding overwhelmingly unconvinced. "fine," she sighed, "we kissed at my party the other week. but then when i kissed him again he swerved. he's so confusing. we've been basically best friends for five years now, i don't understand why it had to get so complicated." her eyes glossed over thinking about it, not wanting to admit her strong feelings towards the football player.
"hey," filly said softly, laying an arm around her shoulder and pulling her into his side, "it's okay to be upset about it. i get it, you both clearly have a lot of history and a lot of feelings. honestly, maybe you both just need to talk." he advised as she wrapped her arms around his chest, using him as a comfort pillow.
"mm, maybe," she shut her eyes tight, "or maybe i could just never see him again"
"you are a stubborn girl" filly laughed.
"well he's a stubborn boy" she replied sharply.
the man chuckled at her attitude, switching on the tv as she moved positions so she could watch as well, with her body resting in between his legs. if you were to walk in on the two, you really would think they're a couple.
