*At the safe house*

Jordan: when I was young yeah, but as I got older I learned how to do it faster
Kimiko & Frenchie: you and blood girl have been together for long time ?
Jordan: no over the last couple of days we got together

Frenchie getting up: okay whatever you say
*Frenchie punches them and Jordan doesn't flinch, but Frenchie rubs his hand*
Frenchie: it's like they are made of steel but what is your other power then
*Jordan switchs and blast the beer cans off the table*
Starlight: oh shit that is cool
Jordan: you think
Starlight: yeah you have multiple powers not just one because most supes have one

~meanwhile~
Emma debats on waking up the others to tell them about Jordan being taken away but she can only hear "we will get you whatever you want" and Emma decides to go back to sleep. After Emma falls asleep Marie moves her arm and notices that Jordan isn't their. Marie half asleep wakes up and sees that Jordan isn't sleeping next to her as she sit up she calls for Emma but there is no response, then she calls for Andre. Half asleep Andre sits up.
Andre: what
Marie: Jordan is missing
Andre: what
Marie: I'm going to bang on the door they can probably hear us
Andre: yeah but what if they just blast the sonic alarm to get you to shut up, we can't do shit without our powers. If Jordan doesn't come back by morning then I promise you that we will rush at them the next time they open the door.
Marie: I guess you have point
Andre: now go to bed Marie
Marie: fine
Marie lays back down but isn't able to sleep. They keep wondering where Jordan is.
~Time skip~
5am:
Marie hears muffled voices on the outside of the door. Marie sees that the door opens and pretends to be asleep. As Jordan steps into the room they get back in bed with Marie. As the door closes Marie sits up
Marie: Jordan are you okay
Jordan: yeah
Marie: where did you go
Jordan: I can't say
Marie: Jordan I need to know where did you and are they with vought
Jordan: I can't tell you
Marie: REALLY JORDAN WHY NOT I WAS WOR-
Jordan places their hand on Marie mouth: I will tell you but you can't say anything
Marie nods her head.
Jordan: the supe on the team is Starlight, there about 5 other people on the team, all I know is that they are going to ask us about the woods.
Marie: you meet starlight ? Is she cool?
Jordan: YEAH out all of them she was the nicest one
Marie: okay so they aren't trying to hurt us but my question is why are they asking about the woods ?
Jordan: I was thinking the same thing, I was able to make a deal with them before I got thrown back into the room
Marie: whats the deal
Jordan: now that I can't tell you or the deal will be off
Marie: Fine
Jordan: don't be mad all I'm going to say is that it's something for the both us
Marie rolls her eyes and kisses Jordan: you are so lucky that you are cute or I definitely would be more mad at you.
Jordan smirks: mhmm
They both lay on the bed cuddling each other

*In the living room*
Butcher: fine but you and Hugie are going to talk them downstairs
On the way out Jordan grabs Butcher shoulder.
Jordan: when you bring up Marie I'm coming with her
Butcher: No
Jordan: listen to me, we all know Marie powers are too strong and we know that she hasn't gotten full control
Butcher: we have the sonic alarm I'm not worried
Jordan: I would because she can either A. Explode your hand or B. She can stop your heart it's up to you
MM: Butcher just agree with Jordan because I speak for everyone here we actually want to keep our arms and hands and we also don't want heart attacks
Butcher: Fine but if you pull anything it's not going to be pretty but listen Jordan you can't tell Marie because if you do then you won't come up with her
