One heck of a night

When the gang got out of the hospital wing Sonic and friends walked all the way to Sonic's and Tails place. "Thanks for coming along guys." "No problem Sonic, Tails is are friend too and we need to look after him" said Amy softy. Sonic smiled at the pink hedgehog and the others, before looking down at the sleeping fox in his arms.

"He seems so piece full" said Cream's sweet little voice. This made Sonic feel so happy in side, to hear something about his brother that wasn't a threat or torment.

When they got to the house, it was already getting dark. Sonic walked up stairs with Tails and popped him onto his bed. "Good night Tails." Sonic stroked his little buddy's head and then left closing the door quietly behind him.

Sonic walked down the stairs to see his three friends all sitting on the sofa waiting for his return. "So how is he?" Cream asked. "He'll be fine, just needs some sleep. I'll keep checking on him every few hours" said Sonic looking back up at the stairs.

"But Sonic what about you, you need your rest" said Amy. "Right now my buddy is all that matters Amy, I'll sleep when I know he's ok" said Sonic his face stern.

"Fine then I'm staying to help you out" said the black hedgehog standing next to Sonic. "Me too" said Amy quickly. "And me" Cream jumped up. Sonic looked round at his friends and then smiled. "Thanks guys." They all smiled and nodded.

When all seemed peaceful, Sonic felt a sharp pain run down his left arm and held it with his right hand tightly. "Sonic are you alright" asked a now worried Amy. Amy put her hand on Sonic's left arm, but let go when she saw the bandages on Sonic's arm were glowing a red colour.

"Oh no!" said Shadow. "Amy get away from him now." "What why?" Shadow didn't need to answer when Sonic did a loud blood curdling howl. The said hedgehog quickly covered his mouth with his right hand, completely shocked at what he had just done. Amy took a few steps back to where Shadow and the now scared Cream were.

The black hedgehog looked out the window and saw the full moon brightness coming through the glass and onto Sonic. He quickly legged it to the window while jumping over the couch and drew the curtains. "That should stop it for a while" Shadow thought to himself. Sonic's arm stopped hurting and so did the glowing.

He breathed heavily from the huge amounts of

pain and then looked at his friends with concerned eyes. Shadow ran to Sonic

and asked if he was ok.

The blue

hedgehog did a slight nod and got up with Shadow's help. "W-what was that all

about?" Sonic asked. "Looks like the venom has nearly taken over all your

body." Sonic looked at Shadow with a confused look on his face. "What do you

mean Shadow?"

Before Shadow had a chance of speaking, a little voice came from the stairs. "S-sonic are you ok?" The four friends looked over and saw Tails with a worried look. "Tails what are you doing, the doctor said you needed to go right to bed" Sonic said while looking at his little brother. "Yeah but I heard a noise and I wanted to make sure you were ok?" said Tails rubbing his left arm.

Sonic couldn't help but look at Tails wounds, it just hurt him to see his little buddy like that and now Tails was really worried about him. Sonic walked over to Tails and gave him a small smile. "Don't worry about me little bro, now go up and get back into bed." Tails couldn't help but keep the same face, but he nodded and did what he was told.

As Tails was walking up the stairs, he heard a scream. He looked down at the bottom of the stairs and saw his brother on the floor holding his left arm tightly. "SONIC!"
