summary:
nova miako grew up sheltered, homeschooled by her mother and living in her own little world. when tragedy strikes, she is forced to move to her mother's hometown in japan for her new job and into a world that she is unfamiliar with, full of people that she doesn't understand. one boy in particular makes her very nervous.
