⚠TW - Gunshot⚠
It was a normal evening of patrol. I had just saved a girl from being attacked, a robbery at Delmar's and a car chase.
But something just felt wrong.
I shook the off feeling and continued looking for crime to fight.
Finally, after what felt like hours of searching, I found an armed robbery. I quickly webbed all of the guys up and got ready to swing off, until I felt my spidey sense tingle.
However, it was too late and I suddenly felt something plunge into my side. I looked and saw red leaking through my suit around the wound.
I quickly webbed the bad guy up and clumsily swung towards where I had kept my bag. Fortunately, it wasn't too far away so I go there quickly.
Suddenly, I felt woozy. The feeling in my body slowly slipping away.
Until I saw a face I never thought I would see again.
"May?"
And I passed out.
*TIME SKIP!*
I slowly opened my eyes to a dirtyish ceiling that looked just like my old apartment.
I jolted upwards, hissing with pain after feeling a pain in my side.
Then it all flooded back to me like a tidal wave.
The ordinary patrol, the gunshot and seeing... May?
I jumped out of bed and searched the apartment, oh god I haven't been here in ages!
"May? May! Where are you!"
And then I saw her.
I launched my whole body at her, ignoring the pain in my side.
"Pete, Pete calm down!"
I just hugged her tighter, letting my tears soak her shirt.
"W-where have you been? I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! GREEN GOBLIN FUCKINGKILLED YOU AND I COULDN'T FUCKING SAVE YOU!"
I was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably.
After a few minutes, I looked up to see May looking at me confused?
"I died?"
