~chapter 13~ paper..no..diamond..rings

Hey guys! Technically this chapter would be in Chloe's POV because I've been following a pattern. However, since it's chapter 13 it obviously has to be in Taylor's POV!! As always thank you for reading, I appreciate it! #13💙

Taylor's POV (October 22nd)
Today is Chloe's 5th birthday! She has been begging me and I mean BEGGING me to take her to a Chief's game. We're at the point where if I say no she asks Travis. She loves the Chief's so much and since they play tonight I figured why not take her, it's her birthday after all. She has no clue, but I finally agreed to let Travis give me tickets.

I'm downstairs putting whipped cream and sprinkles on Chloe's pancakes when she comes down. The whole living room and kitchen areas are decorated. I watch her expression as she sees everything. She cries, overwhelmed and looks around at everything. She comes running to me and hugs my legs. I pick her up, "Happy birthday squirt." She hugs me, "Thank you mommy." I smile, "I made you pancakes with whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup!" Her face lights up when she looks at her plate, "Yummy!"

She sits down in her seat so she can eat her food. A tear runs down her cheek. I sit across from her. "This is the first time actually celebrating my birthday." I frown at the thought of that. Then I remember I have to be a strong, happy mom. "Well now that you're with me, you will always celebrate your birthday! You get to have 2 different birthday parties this year," I say excitedly. She squeals, "2 parties!? For me?" I giggle, "Yep!! One for my friends and your friends. And another one for family at grandma's house." She smiles, "Yay! When?" I look at her, "Grandmas house on Friday, and then our house on Saturday!" She takes a bite of her pancake, "I can't wait mommy. Thank you for celebrating me." I smile, "Always, baby."

I have her head to the couch as I wheel a wagon full of presents into the living room. They are all wrapped in purple packaging, her favorite color. She looks at the wagon and her jaw drops as tears run down her cheeks, "Those are for me!?" I smile, "They are!" I unload the wagon and go back and put more presents in it then wheel it back and empty it. "More?" She asks shocked. "Yep! These are all for your birthday! Go ahead and open them." She excitedly opens every presents and thanks me for every. single. one. She's so grateful and I hope she never loses her gratefulness.

When she opens all of them she gives me a hug. I kiss her head, "You're welcome, but there's one more special one, from Travis." I pull out a shiny red bag from behind the couch. I record her reaction as she opens it and pulls out a red sparkly skirt and a red and yellow chiefs shirt. She giggles and jumps around, "Travvy got me a chiefs outfit!" I smile, "Look at the card." She takes the envelope out and opens it. Inside the card are two chiefs tickets for the Kelce sweet. She drops the card and tickets and screams, running around the house. I'm still recording her but I'm now laughing. She runs back to me and jumps in my arms. "Thank you Thank you Thank you!" I giggle, "Don't thank me. Thank Travis." She squeals, "Can I call him?" I shake my head as I end the call. "No baby he's busy right now. The game is today." She screams, "TODAY!?" I laugh, "Yep. We have to leave in about an hour and head to the jet." She's shocked, "Omg!"

I get off the jet with a very exited Chloe. My guards take our luggage and put it in a car before letting Chloe and I in. They double check that they know where I'm wanting to go before they drive off. 15 minutes later we pull into Travis's driveway. There's a party before the game going on right now. I tell my guards to stay in the car as I grab my bags and Chloe's bags and head inside. I try to make sure nobody sees me yet as I go into the guest bedroom and put our stuff there.

I realize I failed when Donna comes up to Chloe. "Hey sweetie, you must be Chloe, happy birthday!" She says excitedly. "Omg what is Mama Kelce doing here!?" Chloe squeals. I giggle, "She's a huge chiefs fan." I then turn to Chloe, "She's here for Travis's party baby." Chloe hugs Donna, "I love you Mama Kelce!" Donna giggles and hugs her back.
