One Big Problem

~One Month and Two Weeks Later~

"Sir, we have a lead."

The leader of the regiment turns his head to stare at his subordinate. The younger man almost gulps under his superior's unwavering gaze. The leader doesn't speak, he simply waits for the younger to elaborate. 

"We got a match on Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung walking out of a restaurant two days ago, Friday night," he explains. The man motions for him to continue. "Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung are two of the most notorious bodyguards in the western side of the world. Italian bodyguards working in the witness protection program. They had colored contacts and covered a lot of their faces, but one of our men recognized them from another mission."

The superior huffs. "Were they with a girl?" 

The younger nods. The leader presses on his walkie talkie, almost smirking at the sudden realization that this could be it. Their mission could finally be over. It's taken months, and the L/n's had to flee to an undisclosed location while this happens. Now they can finally come out and get their revenge.

"Alert the whole squad. We might have something," he says into the walkie talkie.

Without waiting for an answer, he clicks the thing off and places it back in his belt. The countless soldiers around him are all loading weapons while he watches the screen: the hacked security camera footage. They've been looking for this woman nonstop for months. 

He chuckles, leaning against the railing in their underground HQ. "This is the start of a new era."

The soldiers all stop and turn to him, standing at attention. He stares only at the screen, not bothering to look at the other faces before him. With a relieved sigh, he begins to speak. 

"The L/n girl will be found. And when she is, we'll kill her bodyguards and anyone who threatens to stand up against us. You are to capture her alive, kill anyone who stands in our way. And those two guards, Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung." He drops his voice to a whisper and narrows his eyes. "They'll quickly find out they can't protect anyone..."

Jimin holds her close, kissing her desperately and clawing at her clothes. It's one of those days where he's more in love than usual. It's one of those days where he needs to show it more than usual. 

When they part, the red locks that sprawl around her face make his heart jump. Such a beautiful color. Those flushed cheeks and curious eyes. Her entire body underneath him, on display. He almost cries from happiness. Jimin finally has a lover. Someone he can see himself with for the rest of his life.

It's been a little over a month since they've been together, and each day has been magical. Poor Tae has been stuck with Y/n a lot more often, but Jimin's sure the younger man doesn't mind. After all, he's still in love with her. Wait, that makes Jimin feel even worse. Tae's forced to be with the woman he loves even though she loves someone else. And she loves him fiercely. It's a little insane how close Jungkook and Y/n have gotten over their several month stay in South Korea.

"Penny for your thoughts?" she asks, the Korean spewing from her tongue making his ears perk up with delight. 

He gives her a sloppy kiss, breathing heavily into it despite not meaning to. 

He parts a few seconds later. "I'm a little broke, can you up it to a dime?" 

She playfully whacks his chest, laughing ever so slightly. Ah, that smile. The smile that really captured his heart. 

"You think I'm any better? A foreigner in Korea? Yikes, that's a no from me," she replies with a a laugh in her voice.

"You're really insistent on teasing me, huh?"
