"Well? What do you think?"

I stood in front of the bathroom mirror. While Liz had opted for a more simple look, merely some foundation and blush, it still had a beautiful result. In the bathroom mirror my eyes sparkled, widened by my pure amazement at Liz and Patty's work. They took my hair and gave it loose curls at the bottom.

Looking back between the twins and the mirror, Liz took my reaction as an answer enough.

"Seeing as you like it, we can get going."

"What about you guys?"

"We have some friends bringing our dresses to us from the dry cleaners, we'll arrive a little early and get changed then," She explained.

"Ah okay."

We all stay for a bit longer in the bathroom, none of us really seeming to have a plan. But, after a moment or two, Liz finally clapped her hands together and made the decision for us to leave.

As soon as the door opened the cool night air hit my face, but what was more startling than that was the fact that someone shouted my name.

"Y/N!" A boy yelled to my right. Out of the corner of my eye I could see spiky blue hair and realized it was BlackStar. Turning towards him I also saw Tsubaki, staying just a step behind him. "Y/N, get over here!" He called out again. I listened, and walked down the steps to meet them on the sidewalk.

"You're gorgeous!" Tsubaki gushed, walking all around me for a full view of my outfit.

"Really?"

"Yes!"

I giggled, flustered from the positive attention.

"Quit with the flirting Tsubaki, you might make Kid jealous," BlackStar jokingly warned.

Tsubaki scoffed, "Like I care what he feels."

BlackStar looked around, "Where is he anyway? I thought he would've walked you Y/N."

A little ashamed, I looked down to the ground, "Oh, he said he had to leave early since he was giving a speech. I was just going to walk with Liz and Patty there."

"Well if he won't escort you I will!" Tsubaki announced, interlacing her arm with mine, "I think we make a better couple anyways, don't you BlackStar?"

He laughed, "Sure Tsubaki, whatever helps you sleep at night."

A blush spread across my face, but no one seemed to notice as we walked down the street and towards the brightly lit academy.

Walking up the stairs I saw dozens of other students, each of them talking excitedly, just as happy to be here as I was. Entering through the door the lights consumed my entire vision, dazzling all around me, and once paired with the soft music all around it felt like I had entered a dreamland.

I looked all around, but I couldn't find Kid anywhere, and apparently neither could Tsubaki.

"Where is he?" she huffed, upset on my behalf, "He should at least be waiting for you if he wasn't going to escort you."

I didn't stop my search, but Kid still didn't appear. Eventually I accepted the fact that he would just show up when he did, and I switched my attention elsewhere. Specifically towards the large spread of food that was right in the middle of the room.

It wasn't just me, as BlackStar was already over the food, stuffing everything he could into his mouth.

Tsubaki noticed my staring, and nudged me, "We can go over there too, especially since you probably haven't eaten today."
