Endless Void

Emilia was walking down the hall with a puck flying near her left shoulder, setting off sparks of ice with every little movement she made.

Did we do the right thing? Emilia said as she was talking.

Puck landed on her left shoulder gently, looked at Emilia, and said, It is the only fate for a witch or anyone related to a witch, Emilia.

But Subaru didn't try to hurt Rem said Emilia was wanting to fight back at his words.

Suddenly, he saw someone walking towards him.

Someone whose presence made this void even more quiet yet full of noise—a feeling he couldn't describe

Suddenly, the figure disappeared from his view.

He looked around to see where it went, and for some reason, he felt fear!

Fear is something born when people don't want to die.

On the other hand, Subaru is someone who has died too many times, and thus he didn't think he could still feel fear.

Suddenly, the shadows in this empty, endless void became quiet not like they were making a sound in the first place; just they gave off a feeling as if there were many people lurking in the shadows talking about him.

Suddenly, the figure was behind him, almost touching his body.

Subaru didn't understand what the figure just said—only that it was dangerous to even move a muscle—as this thing was something even worse than death and more evil than evil itself.
