Lance and Keith. The two best racers in the whole world. They've always been rivals, but they never directly made contact with eachother.
That was, at least, until the biggest street racing event ever. Chaos swarmed the area, everyone fled in a fit...
welp, on that note, hey guys! I hope you're enjoying the fic so far :)
I just thought I'd do a quick note on what I'm imagining Keith's and Lance's (Blue's) Street racing suits as so that people can get a bit of an idea. Especially the famous mask that Lance hides behind.
I found some pictures that are pretty close to what I had in mind so I thought I'd share them :)
Keith's suit:

Obviously street racers irl probs don't go through all the trouble of having a suit.. but this is a fanfic about gay fictional men so why the hell not be extra? There also usually isn't teams, but in my world there is. Remember, Lance (Blue) races for Altea and Keith for Galra. I imagine every member wears their own suit with whatever style or colours they want, but each team has arm bands with a corresponding colour that the team members must wear on their suits.

But I was thinking a dark purple for Galra. For Altea I imagine it being the same pink as in the picture. If you need to question why pink, did you even watch the show?
Jk, I'm not mean, but I think pink works best because when Allura gets her pink space suit after becoming a paladin, she explains its meaning and importance, hence the colour choice.
And now for Lance's mask. I had to think hard about this because I mean, it's Lance. the mask had to be extra but also do its job properly. No one can find out he's Blue, so it had to cover at least half his face, but still be cool.
so I was looking at masquerade masks, and I found this:

which I think is really cool. Hides most the face while still being a cool shape. I can def see my fanfic Lance wearing this.
But, not in that silver colour and not with the music notes. Obviously his pseudonym is Blue, so the mask needs to be blue. I imagine it being the same shade as his suit and just being more of a solid colour without patterns.
Also, its a fanfic. I just figured it didn't need to be too realistic. Because realistically, people would definitely figure out Lance is Blue. But hey, don't ruin the story.

I just thought it might be a good idea to share my vision, in case people didn't have theit own.
