Episode 8: Rumors & Confrontations

Tsukasa had to stay in the hospital for 4 weeks. They visited him every day. With the bodyguards of course. Anzu was able to strike a deal with them and they just cooperated.

Junta ended up staying home for a month as well. His parents insisted but Anzu knew. Riri was back in business.

After what seemed like 4 years, it was finally time for Tsukasa to come back home. It was November when he came back.

"Welcome back!" Anzu and Junta said to Tsukasa happily.

"It is good to be back." He replied.

They then spent the last two days of Anzu's and Junta's holiday eating mochi, watching shows and playing games. Anz was horrible at games of luck but she was very good when it came to strategy games.

"She could be a military general with her battle tactics." Tsukasa and Junta mused.

On the night before Anzu had to go back to school, Tsukasa pulled Junta aside to talk to him in the backyard. Privately.

"What's up?" Junta asked.

"It is about Anzu." Tsukasa replied.

"What about her?"

"Well..." Tsukasa was about to ask him a question that could break his friendship with his housemate.

"I wanted to ask if I could confess to her."

"100 percent!" This was starting to sound like the military to Tsukasa.

"Hmmmm." Junta says. "As long as she is happy."

"Thank you!" Tsukasa said.

They went back inside. Anzu was doing a load of laundry. She looked up at them. Smiling.

"Hi! Where were you guys?" Anzu asked.

"We were uhhh... taking out the trash." Junta said.

"Oh ok then." Anzu said and shrugged it off.

After some time playing games, they all decided to go to bed. Tsukasa would not go to school for another month. He would be allowed to leave his house in December.
