"Need some coffee?" A voice echoed through the room startling me. I turned around to see Chan getting milk and coffee from the kitchen.
"Sure why not..why are you up at this time though" i said not looking up.
"The same reason , can't sleep cause maybe Ive got too much on my mind" he said beating the coffee.
I just hummed along
"What are you writing?" He asked
"I just had some ideas and i thought it'd be better to write them down before I forget about them" I said nonchalantly.
He put the coffee on the table and sat down on the couch behind me.
"What's on your mind? Wanna talk?" I said sipping up the coffee in my hands.
"Well nothing much but since we're officially starting tomorrow, I just realised how far we've come without Woojin, we were miserable when he left...it was almost like someone had snatched a part of us and now finally we've moved on...I had too many thoughts to handle..that's it" he said with a small smile on his face
"Can I have a look?" He picked up my notes and I nodded.
"Damn Su! You're a skilled writer..these are too good for just thoughts I'll tell ya"
"you're getting too excited chan, I need to look them over" I said trying to snatch them away.
"No dude you're good" he retaliated and I said "You, are saying..dude you're the leader..of 3racha...most of the songs are written by you..while me, I haven't even been to you guys' production room" I said with clear desperation in my voice and he chuckled
"I'll give you a tour someday...you're going to the recording studio tomorrow anyways" he said.
We discussed all night about songs, lyrics and preferences..that was the first time one of the boys had ever talked to me for that long, as a friend and not as a colleague..I was happy..damn happy that day.
*the next day*
"We're watching that movie If we record well today for sure" Jisung said
"You pick out dumb movies, I'll pick a better one" jeongin said
"Who's getting snacks?" Minho asked
"Ordered" someone said.
"What's all this about?" I asked pulling Felix out of the crowd since every one seemed too busy.
"Every time we complete the recording session well, we sit together in the living room and watch a movie or do something fun with snacks and all" he explained looking for chicken sauces in his phone, I guess.
"Damn that must be fun..can I join you guys tonight? " I asked
"Ofcourse you can...you're skz officially woman..why is that even a question?" He chuckled
I uttered a small yeppie and sat in the car.
*At the recording studio*
"Alright! You're up Su..the sheets are kept in...Can you hear me?" Chan said through the head set and i gestured back a thumbs up with a nod.
1!2!3! Go
And i began,
*The video is just for a reference to Su's tone and pitch*
And one after the other..I kept on recording. Bangchan asked me to add on some adlibs at last and well not only did I record the adlibs but made a laughing stock out of myself.
"You're good" bangchan said red from all the laughter
"No but damn dude you really are good " said Minho
Everyone complimented me and left to get to the car. But hyunjin had been standing there looking at the floor with his arms crossed
"You don't have to go?" I asked him
"I do but I'll wait for you" he said
"Do you wanna say something?" I asked him, politely this time trying very hard not to mess up how far we've come.
"No just that, You're a good singer Su..welcome to the team" man spoke at the speed of light.. I barely caught up but he had already ran off
I couldnt help but chuckle.
I had fun that day..I had fun while recording and listening to their antiques..it felt unique..to be in an atmosphere with professionals like them..to share the same temperament.
We watched a movie that night and in weeks that was the first time, I felt like I was one of them. Content and happy <3
Chan's phone had been ringing for too long...he was in the kitchen getting us popcorn so I sort of screamed, eyes glued to the TV "Chan your phone's ringing..it's Manager Lee..might wanna hurry up?"
"Could you please pick it up and ask him what's up or maybe tell him I'll call him later" he asked and I nodded.
"He-" i was cutt off in the middle..."Hi chan, I'm calling to inform you that we're announcing Su-yeon's debut on the official forum in an hour..inform the others" manager Lee said.
"YOU'RE ANNOUNCING MY DEBUT TOMORROW!?!?" I said on the top my lungs exasperated as hell
