you were feeling tired after a long day and just wanted to go to bed.

they ended on a win, and said their goodbyes. you left the call and switched off your monitor.

"time for bed." you jumped into bed and fell asleep really quickly.

it was late at night that tuesday when you found yourself crying at the messages your mother had sent.

your relationship with your mother had never been the best but those words meant alot to you, knowing that she was being genuine and that she had tried to reach out again.

you couldn't help but let your eyes water and for the tears to roll down your face.

it was late that night and another day spent without the company of anyone. lea was busy working on her project but she still constantly checked up on you.

you decided you wanted to stock up some stuff at a grocery store. why not go on a late night drive? i might as well.

hopping into the driver seat, you turned on the radio and let the noise distract your thoughts.

you had alot to think about as the drive was about fifteen minutes, but midway the radio announced something that caught your attention.

"the next song that we will be playing is 'crush' by zerobaseone. one of the most popular kpop boy groups right now!" the radio dj said.

you couldn't help but smile a little as the song began to play. almost as if it was planned, the song ended just as you reached the store.

grabbing your airpods and wallet, you got off the car and headed inside.

you picked up a basket and went to pick up the stuff you needed.

the store was quite empty since it was already pretty late, making the atmosphere seem really quiet. the feeling of loneliness hits you yet again, making you feel a little sad.

the song grocery store by cavetown started to play in your ears. "i have never related to a song more," you mumbled to yourself after hearing the lyrics.

holding in your tears, you quickly continued your shopping. it wasn't a few minutes later before you heard voices on the aisle next to yours.

please don't come here, i want to avoid people at all cost. however, your pleas did not seem to be in your favour today. within the next second, you could hear the footsteps and voices coming towards you.

lowering your head, you hoped you could just walk pass them without drawing any attention.

the group of boys walked into the aisle and you quickly walked pass them. just as you thought you were safe, you heard one of them say "oh? isn't that y/n?"

confused how they knew your name, you looked back and had a shock. "what are you doing here?!" you asked without thinking.

your eyes landed on the same pair of black eyes. you could only focus on him that you didn't even realise the other members were standing right next to him.

"we're here to buy stuff too." yujin explained and started walking towards you. you finally looked away from him and realised gunwook and zhanghao were with him.

something in your head snapped and you remembered that your eyes were still red and puffy from crying. shit i can't have them seeing me like this.

"uh sorry," you mumbled and turned away quickly. hoping they hadn't seen your face clearly.

not wanting to bump into them again, you went to check out your items. after that, you grabbed the bags and headed back to the car.

ding! your phone lights up just as you open the car door. "who would be messaging me right now?" you wondered. you toss the groceries onto the passenger seat and pull our your phone.
