The girl found her bed empty the moment her eyes fluttered open. The lack of the comforting yet scary touch she fell asleep with was the first thing she noticed. No strong arms held her close anymore, keeping her warm and secure. Instead it was cold, freezing even. The only thing remaining was the addicting scent the emperor left behind, a trail of metaphorical blue rose petals.

She was somehow glad he had left. She didn't know how to approach or talk to him after what he has admitted to her tonight (not that they have ever shared a friendly conversation in the first place). But she still wanted to thank him for helping her despite his uncaring persona. After all, he was the reason she could fall asleep.

Although that might be easier said than done.

Her eyes gazed down at her t-shirt which hang loosely around her upper body, cold and wet just like her face. Her hands subconsciously pulled the blanket closer to her body, trying to warm up her poor self.

Once the girl finished her morning routine (which consisted of laying in bed and getting back to reality) she sat at her desk at her sweet home, stressing homework right in front of her. She was supposed to write a poetry analysis in german, but has absolutely no clue how to start. The only part written on her paper was the introduction and even that was mediocre or- how Rin would say- lukewarm.

She couldn't even keep her eyes open and the school wanted her to analyze "Welcome and Farewell" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe? Hell no. Goethe was the author, he can very well solve his own problems.

A sigh escaped her lips and she decided to move the homework to her afternoon. She tapped on her phone screen, 9:26 am.

She has to get ready for the match today.

So she brushed her teeth, put on some warm clothes and boots and left towards her beloved bus station. Her environment was still cold and mostly ruined by the storm that haunted the city yesterday. Some trees fell onto streets, blocking paths. One tree even fell on a house, ruining its roof, the owners outside the destroyed house now trying to solve this issue. Leaves, dirt and mud polluted the sidewalks and little kids jumped happily into deep water puddles.

Munich looked like a dystopia right now as if she was walking on the set of "World war Z" without the scary zombies instead of her actual hometown.

So destroyed streets, no buses again, huh?

She had to walk her way to the stadium again, this time definitely no Michael to randomly pick her up. Great. She really needed a driver's license.

Her feet started moving slowly, not having the energy to pick up her pace.

Time passed. The forest she usually passes by seemed darker than ever, more lonely, abandoned, void of animals and the bright nature. The leaves turned orange, red, much more comforting than the boring green. Some fell onto the forest floor, some still hung on their branches for dear life.

Strangely they reminded her of herself.

In the silence of her surroundings, a loud noise could be heard from underneath her chest, some rustling she could feel inside her jacket's pockets. Confused, she pulled out the ringing phone, a caller, the prefix not from Germany.

+81? she thought.

Wouldn't this call be stupidly pricy? But if someone wanted to call her, they would know this. Maybe it's important? she thought.
