There are a few minutes left until my flight has finally landed in Atlanta. I'm really excited to see my cousin, Roberto, aka Fanum, and my baby brother Caden. I found a better paying job in Atlanta, and so I will be moving in with Roberto and his friends, which I haven't met before. I've met Duke only like once or twice, but the rest I haven't.
This is also a chance for me to get closer to some of my friends, Indiana and Adalyn, after a whole year and a half without seeing each other. I would book them flights to see me, but that would be once in a while, but now I can finally be with them for once.
My phone rings, Roberto's caller ID appearing on it. I pick it up with a smile when my flight starts landing. "Ya'll haven't landed yet?" I chuckle at his annoyed voice. "Patience, we just landing now." I pack my laptop in my bag and a few other things.
Once the flight has landed, I get out behind other people, Roberto is still on the call. "We out front." I grab my luggage before looking for Roberto. "I can't see your fat ass, cuh." I continue to look for him. "Bruh, I can see yur short ass. Look to your right."
I look to my right to see Roberto and my brother, Caden. I rush towards them, pulling them both into one big hug. "Damn, you short as hell." I roll my eyes, hitting Roberto's shoulder, who takes my luggage, Caden helping him.
"You big as hell." I exclaim, making us all laugh. "Sup, baby brother." I attempt to place my arm over Caden's neck, but being the short person I am, I do not manage to do so. "Sup, big sister."
Caden has really grown, the last time I left him, he was going to college, now that I am back, he's a whole new, different person. "How have you been holding up?" He shows his thumbs up.
"The last time I left you, you was talkative as fuck. Yo, Roberto, whatchu do to my brother?" Roberto places my luggage in the trunk of his car as I sit in the front seat.
