???: "British Railways is really pushing us this time. Especially, since we're on the verge of possibly going to war with Germany since the "War to end all Wars" was clearly an understatement. The need for artillery, industrial machines, and most of all engines of all caliber.
???: "Agreed, but hopefully if it does turn to the point that war is upon us, we'll be ready. It's always important to be prepared."
???: "I'll take a drink to that. Anyways, can you hand me those blueprints, Jarold? Just to make sure when the boys start hitting their hammers on their hard hats. Don't want them to be building some superweapon or something."
Jarold: "Sure thing, Pat."
Jarold complies with his supervisor's request and delicately gives him the blueprints. Pat uses a monocle and attempts to read the description of what this engine is supposed to look like from its huge, obviously illustrated picture.
Pat: "Hm..."
Jarold: "Well, what if we can't build an engine on certain design, Pat?"
Pat: "Eh, I'm sure the controller, currently will be willing to buy some other Engine from a distant faraway land."
Jarold: "Fair enough. If we do build one, I wonder if it'll be non-faceless."
Pat: "The keyword 'if' Jarold, is very important."
Disclaimer: "Paths will be split between Steam Engine or Diesel. There will be dedicated chapters to both of these chosen sub-division(s)."
(Subdivisions for Steam Engines):
(LNER 4-6-2, Gresley Class A1 Locomotive)
Bio Entry:
"If you've chosen this locomotive, you'll be well-known for being boastful, cocky, and puffed up in the smokebox. You're somewhat of a dick, but you can be a father figure to anyone with helpful advice, you'd give Edward a run for his wheels (not money since they can't really well.. use it). You're also highly intelligent, even if you prefer not to do other jobs such as hauling freight. You have a high disdain for freight cars and shunting. You're also somewhat related to Gordon, Sir Nigel Gresley's creation. So you both feel like family."
