Chapter 7
I got my red flannel, blue jeans, and dusty baby blue converse on. It was time that I left his house and get my own. I greased my hair the way I usually have it. The pink highlights were brighter than usual on my blonde hair. Just before I left, I kissed Johnny softly.
"I have to leave now. Thanks for keeping me," I whispered. He looked at the ground and hugged me. His jean jacket felt soft against my hands. We let go and I went outside.
My car was still at the Curtis'. So I had to walk all the way there. Great. What if a Soc car comes and jumps me? And of course, a red car pulls up next to me. Four Socs get out of the car. Sherri Valance. Just what I need.
"Well well well. What do we have here boys?" Sherri says.
A familiar voice comes out of no where. "I say we have a beautiful woman that will kick your face in." It was Johnny. Sherri laughed.
"My name is Ashis Noble. Also known as... Suckerpunch." And with that, I punched her face and her nose cracked. Blood streamed out of her nose. "Anyone else want a taste of a bloody nose?" I waited. "Thought so."
Johnny came up to me and held my hands. He smiled, I smiled. I pulled him into a kiss, and never let go.
