My favorite teacher use to give my class these speeches about life. She would talk about how everyone changed the world, even if it was just by a little. My favorite speech was about death. It wasn't the thought of death that made me like that speech so much. It was the moments right before that. She would open the speech with, "If we knew when we would die, we would all spend our last days differently." I was never scared to die. What I was scared of was weather or not my last days would be worth living. For a while, all I wanted was death, but these speeches made me rethink all of that. When people look back on my life, I want them to remember how amazing my last days were. I want to live everyday like its my last day. And for a while, I did. What made me stop? I lived my last day.
