Chocol (Wolf'lo) x Reader

Part 9

I was standing outside of the residence to wait for Chocol since it was almost 5:30 PM. After waiting for a few minutes, I noticed a familiar car which was hers.

Chocol's POV

I stopped the car to exactly where she was waiting, rolling down the window and said,

"Hop in."

Y/N opened the car door and sat at the passenger seat since I recommended that she sit here since it would be much more convenient.

"Hi, Chocol!" Y/N greeted brightly.

"Hey, Y/N. Did I arrive late?" I asked.

"No, not at all! You're just 5 minutes late since you arrived at 5:35." Y/N responded with a soft chuckle.

"When you say it that way, I am going to assume that I have let you down somehow." I replied in a teasely manner.

"No way! I didn't mind the 5 minutes at all, I swear!" She responded.

"Hahaha, your responses are really intriguing. I was just kidding around."

"Is it that fun teasing me?" Y/N asked jokingly with a pout on her face.

Pfft- Her pout makes her look really cute.

"By the way, you look extra beautiful today, as usual." She looked great, so I told her how nice she looked.

"Thank you.." A response from Y/N was heard with an obvious smile on her face.

Y/N's POV

I truly tried to look well today so that she would notice me, and the fact that she did make me feel so happy that my heart was racing. As a result, I felt a lot of butterflies in my stomach.

"We've arrived." said Chocol

When we arrived, we got out of the car and entered the restaurant. Since I had made a reservation, I asked the worker to lead us to our tables.

We both took a seat, and I initiated the conversation so that she wouldn't feel bored or awkward.

"What did you do today?" I asked.

"Hmm, I just went to the studio to practice some moves. What about you?" She threw back the question at me.

"Ugh, my head was absolutely hurting after I woke up so I ate the haejang-guk that you gave me the other night. It was really effective!"

"Pfft, it's because you drank too much at the bar." Chocol answered with a slight smirk on her mouth.

The waitress came up to us to list down our orders and gave us their list of menu.

"Good evening! What would you like to have?" Said the waitress.

"I'll have the Prime Ribeye, medium. And would you please recommend your best wine to me?" I stated, waiting for her suggestion.

"I can assure you that the greatest wines to pair with steaks are the La Mascota Malbec Wine and the Alkoomi Shiraz." The waitress answered with assurance.

"Alright, I'll have the Alkoomi Shiraz. What about you, Chocol?"

"I'll have the Kansas City Cut, medium rare." Chocol responded.

"That would be all, thank you!" I said.

After some time, the food we ordered was served at the table.

"Bon Appètit!" I said with a cheerful tone in my voice.

"Thanks for your treat, Y/N. I'll be sure to enjoy the meal." said Chocol.

We carried on our previous talk while we were eating, and I've made the decision to use this as an opportunity to get to know her better.

"I know that this is so out of the blue but, when is your birthday?" I asked with much anticipation.

"Haha, that's literally so random. It's on the 12th of September. I'm curious about yours too, when is it?"

"6th of January." I responded.

"Oh, next month? It's near." Chocol answered, her face displaying a tinge of joy.

"What's your favorite way to spend a day off?" Chocol asked.

Since I had assumed that I was the only one trying to start the conversation, it was sweet to see that she was also making an effort to carry on our conversation.

"I spend my days either watching videos on the internet or lying in bed, hehe..." I answered her question while munching my food.

"I see.. Oh, there's a sauce near your mouth." Chocol randomly said and pointing her fingers at the corner of my mouth.

"Oh, here?" I wiped the left side not realizing that the side she was pointing at was the other side.

I was surprised by the hands that reached my face, wiping the stain off my mouth gently using a tissue.

"Not there, here." Chocol spoke while wiping the sauce off my face.

"Oh.. I'm sorry..."

I find it difficult to determine if being with her is a good thing for me. I become so happy everytime I'm with her, yet my heart beats so quickly to the point that I can't think straight.

Is this what falling in love feels like?
