FRIDAY, the best day of the week. i look at myself in the mirror thats inside my mirror. i fix my hoop earrings and apply a tiny layer of lip gloss. i feel a sudden presence behind me and quickly turn around. sophie donavan is standing in front of me. so close that i can smell her perfume.

"holy shit, you scared me." i admit and i shut my locker to create a bigger distance between us. sophie doesn't move but instead crosses her arms. "what's up, uhm, i haven't seen moose." i say as i fix my backpack. i don't know what this girl wants but, there would be no other reason for her wanting to have an interaction with me.

"i wasn't gonna ask about moose, and even if i was, i won't be asking you." she continued. i was taken aback and quickly shut up. why was she right though? why would she think on asking me.

"okay... what do you want?" i asked, clearly showing my impatience. sophie let out a scoff, "look, i don't know what your intentions are with moose, but just back off okay, you are clearly all over him. i know you hang out in his house that other day...he has a girlfriend, don't be a slut so leave him alone." she cornered me into my locker and i stood there like an idiot. my heart dropped and shattered in a million pieces. no one has ever said that to me before. i felt a lump in my throat forming and feel my eyes heavy. i walk towards the restroom right next to my locker row and take 2 deep breaths.

i guess this is what i deserve for humiliating her last time.
