Her

I had built walls around my heart,
For it was broken many times.
And yet she came crashing,
I surrender without putting up a fight.

The moment she comes by my sight,
God knows, what a delight!
For she has introduced me
To the eternal light.

Knowledge, how most powerful thing it is,
And yet you bare none,
Of how precious to you are to me and my lucidity.

She completes me,
is everything that longed for,
With her,
I pray for nothing more.

The waves of the ocean listen to no one,
They come and go as they please.
Even the thought of her in my cranium,
Gets me on my knees.

The distance between us,
Is not for those who are afraid of pain,
But it is for the two hearts,
That are in one and same.

Saying 'I love you' is an understatement,
For it can never convey what I feel for you.
I just know one thing,
No one else if not you.
