"C-caius."

Rosamund's amethyst eyes met the lush emerald ones of the young boy's figure, yet the Young Lady broke the contact. The Emperor's lips grinned as the man's awaited subjects had finally arrived. The Ruler had hair ink as the night, whilst eyes contained the similar glimmering emerald-like pigment coursed throughout the descendants of the Emperors. However the future Duke of Adalberth, Caius, had corresponding genetics. Thus making the aristocrats in doubt of the Crown Prince.

"You may rise." The commanding voice of the emperor remarked. Rosamund and the Duke removed themselves from the stance they were originally in.

"Was the journey alright, Duke Arthfael?" The Emperor interrogated the prominent blonde haired man of his land. "The journey was quite alright, Your Majesty."

The young lady felt like she was being watched, as the frigid sensation glided at her spine. Concealing the perturbation, Rosamund rotated her neck to gaze at the man whom she was married to.

The Young Marquess was still peering at the Girl he was unable to save at the forest. Guilt was engulfing his chest, maybe if the Young Marquess had enough determination, he could've saved her. Yet, Caius didn't and the boy knew he couldn't.

"Caius." A voice interrupted the tranquility the throne hall had been harboring. Caius jolted from the summon of the Emperor, the Young Marquess replied, "Yes, Your Majesty?"

Taking a stance, The Emperor stood up from his golden throne and looked at the gigantic rose garden leisurely peeking through at the arched windows, settled at the side of the room. His emerald orbs gazed at Caius, whose eyebrows were furrowed.

"May you tour Rosamund at the Royal Gardens, Caius? Certainly, it was a way to notify each other." The emperor said to Caius, who leisurely abled towards the Young Lady. He halted in front of Rosamund and muttered in a quiet voice, "Just follow me."

Rosamund's head nodded, whilst Caius already sauntered near to the gigantic wooden door. The Young Lady remained in place executing the flawless bow, the Emperor's eyes remained to the Daughter of the Duke.
