I couldn't sleep, I kept tossing and turning thinking about the predicament I was in.
I was fake dating Jude but I actually liked his brother
I woke up at 6 am and I was pretty tired because I had less then 4 hours of sleep.
I put on my uniform and bought a protein bar and energy drink from the vemding machine on my way to class.
A girl I'd never seen before was sitting next to my desk. I sat down and tried to focus but my eyes kept closing. The girl next to me was looking at me weird, "I'm Peyton", she whispered after staring at me for what seemed like an eternity
"And I'm tired" I whispered back and smiled
Peyton laughed softly and focused back on the lesson after the longest hour of my life the class finally ended. I packed my bag and was almost out the door when Peyton yelled
"Hey, miss tired, wait up"
I turned around and saw her speed walking up to me.
"What's your next class" she asked
" Well I have an off period now which I'm probably gonna use to catch up on some sleep" I said
"Late night?"
"Nope, I just couldn't fall sleep and my name is Dahlia by the way" I said
"You got insomnia?" she asked
"No" I said
"I guess I'll see you around then, hopefully you won't be so tired the next time I see you" she smiled and walked away
I went back to my room and slept for an hour before I went back to class.
After my classes ended for the day, I facetimed my best friend - Mabel, I needed her advice on the whole Bellingham brothers situation
"Its not even been a month since you left and you have already landed yourself in hot water" she said after I explained the whole situation
"Well I'm sorry that I can't control my feelings and fyi , I really needed that interview", I said defensively
"The only way forward is to tell Jude how you feel", she said in a serious tone
"You know I can't do that" I whined
"You can't or you won't?" she said while rolling her eyes
I kept quiet at that
"Me and you both know that the only reason you don't want to tell Jude is because you care about him because if you didn't you wouldn't hesitate to tell him" she said
I knew she was right but I didn't want to admit it.
"What am I supposed to say? I know that I'm supposed to be fake dating you but I have a crush on your brother? Do you hear how messed up that sounds?" I said
"You'll figure it out, anyway I have to go, I have get some sleep, I had a long day"
"Sweat dreams" I said and hung up.
Mabel was right, I had to tell Jude how I feel but not now. What if its just another silly crush that will only last for a few days like all my other crushes? I thought

I knew what I was doing was wrong but I couldn't help it, there's just something about having a crush on someone... the feeling makes you feel alive.
I wore a black oversized hoodie, a black tennis skirt along with my black leg warmers and black loafers with white socks. My hair was tied into two buns with ribbons around them.
Jobe wasn't there when I arrived so I sat on the bench admiring the scenery
"Boo" a voice said from behind me and I shrieked
It was Jobe and he was laughing at me.
"You should have seen your face" he said in between laughs
"Not funny", I said
"But it is funny though" he said
"You wanna go get some ice-cream" he asked
"No. I don't like ice-cream" I said and he looked at me dumbfounded
"What kind of person doesn't like ice cream" he asked
" Me. The weird type", I said
"I like weird people" he suddenly said and moved closer to me
"When is Jude finishing up with practice" I asked changing the topic to prevent any weird thoughts from coming into my head
"In 15 minutes, we should probably get going if we wanna get there on time" he said and we left.
We got to the stadium and Jude got in clearly not expecting to see me there since he looked shocked then his gaze went to his brother and then he glared at him.
"Dahlia, what are you doing here?" Jude asked
"I'm here to look at the stars" I said sarcastically
"Well since you are here, come meet my teammates", he said and pulled me out of the car.
"I'll stay in the car" Jobe said
"What the hell are you doing with Jobe" he said once were out of the parking lot
"Not this again" I said rolling my eyes
Just as Jude was about to say something someone called his name
"Ayy Jude", the man said then I remembered who he was, it was the dreadhead from the cafe but he didn't have his dreads anymore
Then he saw me and his expression changed from being happy to confused
"What is airport girl doing here" he asked
"I have a name" I snapped
"She is not airport girl, her name is Dahila and she's my girlfriend now and Dahlia this is Trent" Jude said talking my hand in his.
Trent's eyes basically fell out of their sockets.
"Nice joke belly" he said after a few minutes of silence.
"I'm not joking" Jude said
Trent looked at him suspiciously and eventually said congratulations and left.
I met the rest of the team and I have to say bukayo and marcus have to be my favourites.
"Bye guys", Me and Jude said in unison
Before we reached the parking lot Jude suddenly said...
"Be honest with me, do you like my brother?"
