It's a deal!

Idia sat at his desk, the phone you left in hand and his computer on with the many screens lighting his face up. He decided it would be best to document what he finds out and learns along his mission on finding a way to make the internet on your phone work. He was very determined to learn anything he could from your world while keeping himself motivated by the thought of making you happy with his effort of 'repairing' your phone (literally just making the internet connection work).

Idia looked around the phone's settings, skimming over and typing on his computer anything that caught his attention. Idia spent a few hours that day typing down anything worth noting and trying to understand what some things could even mean.

His motivation could only keep him working for so long before he exhaled in frustration the moment he got into a dead end. Having no guide or a tutorial of some sort to guide him through the different technology of your world, he got stuck and confused. Idia didn't know what to do at that moment. He even got the thought of taking the phone apart to look around its circuit board to find anything worth noting but then thought against it. He made a promise to you about being careful with your phone, so he'll keep it. The idea was not out of the question though, keeping that as a last resort in case of anything. Until then, he was going to struggle and find a solution sooner or later.

Idia took a deep breath and rubbed his eyes lightly. He sat up from his desk chair, not before saving what he typed and placing the phone down gently like it was a valuable artefact. It was enough progress for today for him. He'd have to ask you a thing or two about this, but for now he'll take his much needed break and grind on his games.

He spent a good chunk of his night playing video games and joining Muscle Red to multiple raids. It was safe to say Idia got his usual amount of sleep, which was very little.

The moment his head hit the pillow, he felt immediately lulled into slumber, his eyes heavy and exhausted from staring for hours at a time at his screen.
He saw the black void from the back of his eyelids as he laid in bed in his last moments of conciousness before he fell in the world of dreams.

Once again, his mind conjured up a dream and unsurprisingly enough the Ramshackle Prefect appeared.
Idia didn't even realize he was dreaming.

He was outside of the confines of his room, in broad daylight surprisingly enough. Idia glanced around the place, unsure where he was at first. His eyes landed on a well placed in the middle of the place. He quickly put two and two together and got to the conclusion that he as in the school's courtyard.

Idia wasn't really sure why, but he was heading towards a bench unconsciously. When he seemed to be getting closer to the particular bench, Idia saw you were sitting there, waiting apparently. You were looking down at your lap, Grim sitting there and seemed to be pouting, for what reason Idia couldn't tell. After glancing down at your companion and telling him something, although Idia couldn't hear exactly what, your dream self looked up as you noticed the familiar blue flames and the socially awkward boy coming closer. As your eyes met, you smiled and waved, greeting him so warmly. Idia's lips curved up in a smile in response, your presence lighting up his mood.

He sat down on the bench next to you and inquired curiously on why did you want to meet with him outside, and not in his dorm room for example. The conversation flowed and blurred, getting forgotten by the time Idia woke up in the morning. What he remembered though was the fact you suggested for him to pet Grim, actually getting the chance of doing something he wished from the first time he saw Grim at the orientation.

Idia reached out a hand hesitantly, slowly getting closer to Grim as he watched the cat monster stare back at him and at the hand that was approaching his head. It was obvious Grim was displeased and annoyed by getting pet, especially by Idia who gave him the heebie-jeebies, but he didn't protest. He eventually muttered something under his breath but other than that he was not putting up a fight.
