As it was so it shall be
That my morbid appetite seizes me
That my swishing of burnt dwarf stars should make me a glutton, this
Asteroid belt stuck in my teeth
Is a testament to my lack of self-discipline
Oh how many times has that moon been my lover?
Fingertips tracing the shores of her pale body
The soft glow of her veins, my guiding light
Her whispers a familiar taste on my tongue
I eat shadows and drink stars, love
And heartache is not a virtue
And with my black hole stomach
I will tuck Jupiter in my hair
And choke down each of his moons until I can no longer count my ribs
And Sweet Luna with silver ribbons shall rest her lips on my heartbeat
And I shall crack my ribs open
And give my bones to Nyx once more
