The state of chaos had its lasting effects, with hearts broken and relationships being tested to their fullest potential
Angel's beat down of Frankie was never reported thanks to the embarrassment it caused the boy but he got one last blow in the form of Cheryl kicking him in his nuts
But this didn't stop the inevitable distance between her and Angel, the calls and texted messages that Angel ignored only fueled her sadness and Cheryl being ignored continue her to do more to save her relationship
And in person visit was in order but..it was too late
"You sure about this Angel...it's a little earlier than planned" Mr Afton says as he looks at the younger girl and her parents
The group are at the airport waiting in line for their turn to be searched
"I've never been more sure" Angel says in an emotionless voice as she just stares ahead, her grip on her bag tightening causing Fp to rub her shoulder's supportively and her mother kissing her head
Veronica stood by just watching as her sorrow for her sister persisted, not only because of her leaving for the rest of the summer but because of the drama that unfolded at the party two days ago
"Ok...just checking" Mr. Afton says as he walks with the family, they make it through security with Angel looking around the busy airport with suits everywhere as well as mothers and their chaotic children
College aged kids coming home to their families and significant others reuniting with joy
Angel felt a pit in her stomach as she thinks of the sight she saw two days ago, Cheryl and Frankie kissing in the front lawn without a care but something about it felt so weird
The grip of Frankie's hand on Cheryl made her squirm but her hurt feelings for not being believed and trusted hurt especially since they lead to cheating
"Ok...we're at the gate...you excited kid" Mr.Afton asks Angel as they all sit down to wait for the plane, Angel just smiles faintly before looking down at the ground
Her eyes move up slightly to see her sister staring with empathy but Angel ignores it before going on her phone to see all the missed texts from Cheryl but she just blocks her before putting her headphone in her ears
Her eyes shut as the adults around her talk and share in excitement
Meanwhile
Cheryl races down the streets of the southside with some people staring at her, her cherry red convertible making sharp turns as she makes it into Sunnyside trailer park
She parks the car hastily before slamming the door to her car in her rush and running to the door of the Jones family, she knocks and waits impatiently
Serpents around her mean mugging and scoffing as they walk away to not do anything the future Serpent Queen and Serpent princess don't want
And that's violence against any blossom descendant
Cheryl knocks again but hears another door open behind her, she turned around quickly to see Fangs, Toni and Sweetpea all walking out of Toni's trailer
"She's not home....won't be for a while" Toni says sternly causing Cheryl to sigh
"Where is she...I really need to explain Toni..this can't continue" Cheryl says desperately causing Fangs to scoff with a chuckle before walking into the trailer once again with Sweetpea walking away to the other serpents
"Well did you think of listening to her explanation when she told you Frankie was not a good guy...or did you justify his actions by saying that he apologized" Toni says sarcastically causing Cheryl to chuckle sarcastically
"Didn't you, Fangs and Sweetpea do the same by pointing out that her being friends with Reggie was hypocritical?! I made a friend I thought I could trust...I didn't have any before him and Angel so give me some grace.....look I'm not here to argue...where is my girlfriend" Cheryl says angrily as she walk towards Toni who stands firmly in her spot
She admits that no one believed Angel but Toni could see where she was coming from, both Angel and Cheryl actually
"She's not going to be back till the school year starts" Toni says and Cheryl's face falls as everything negative comes to mind
"What! Is she ok...did she do anything like-
"No no...nothing like that Cheryl...she's going to California to film some commercials...you'd know that if you weren't up Frankie's ass the whole time" Toni says angrily
Cheryl feels her whole body grow cold as she realizes that she may lose Angel officially , this summer was supposed to be their summer not like this with all the drama
She was planning a date for Angel to apologize for not listening....she planned out a promise ring proposal and everything...now she's gone
Because of her
She was going to tell Frankie that she didn't wanna be friends but didn't know how
"I....I fucked up....I...fuck!" Cheryl screams as she runs her heads through her hair
"She was gonna tell you at the party or after but....you had to suck face with Frankie....your lucky she's protecting you from the serpents because I'd let them get revenge" Toni says before walking off
"I didn't kiss him back!" Cheryl yells to Toni causing the girl to stop in her tracks, she looks back she analyzes Cheryl's face which causes hers to drop immediately
The rage bulidlmg inside Angel fueled her work but it always fueled her revenge and her heart turns to stone
A/n hahaahahahaah drammaaaaaa also chill on Cheryl a bit and see her pov a bit but fuck Frankie and Fuck....haha I'm not telling y'all yet
