Ch. 30 (M/n) vs The Jaegers!

(M/n) POV

"Be honest.....Do you really think you can win?"

"No......But I'll have to fight......"

"Koro......Be ready....."

      With my armor equipped, I was ready. Though, the odds were stacked against me. And even then, I had the thought that I couldn't win. But why am I doing this? Is this strictly for Esdeath's amusement???
      It was at this time, I was starting to think time had slowed down. My right foot, grinding into the dirt methodically, the time for an opening was killing me. The person I thought would be the first to attack would be Wave....He had this instinct......One that was swift and strong. While Seryu seems aggressive, she still waits for an opening.
      And then there's Kurome.....Her sword out radiating this aura.......Dark aura......

".......Look at you.....Muscles shaking, body twitching.....You're tense......Blood is boiling.....Eyes filled with anger...."

Kurome had just wanted to get my attention, but I wasn't going to move from my original position. Finally, after what felt like a minute of longing, Wave was the first to strike, he bolted at me, causing the dirt beneath him to split like the sea. Coming at me with a furious right, Wave yelled at me as I block his punch with my right hand before using my left hand and turning my right around to grab Wave's arm throwing him over my shoulder.
      Upon Wave hitting the ground, my attention turned back over to Kurome and Seryu. Kurome already had moved to get in front of me, sword aimed at my neck as I moved out of the way of it but she proceeded to swing her sword at me with such speed, reminding me more of Akame. While Kurome had started hitting my armor, I used my forearms to block the strikes as Seryu started unleashing an attack with assistance from Koro.

"Koro. Use Number 1."

      Apparently Koro can just bite onto Seryu's torn arm and produce a weapon. This weapon being a flail. Now I am being attacked from both sides, the flail hitting against my back as Kurome used a series of downward slashes and stabs near my heart but blocking them proved to still be difficult with her speed. To counter these moves, I pushed away Kurome once she went for another downward slash, as I turn around completely to catch the flail Seryu was using. However, Koro then leaped and blocked my view.

"AHHH!!! WHAT THE HELL???!!!"

As Koro started biting some pieces of my armor, I knew Wave had gotten back up and used a sweep kick as I fall backwards. Koro jumps off of my face but my vision is overtaken by a boot from Wave. Wave then kicks me in the side, as I roll over as I try to get up.

"Stay down!"

      I ignore Wave's words whilst getting back onto my feet. My breathing heavier, and my body lightly wounded from some of the action up to this point. From the bite marks on my mask, to the scuffs and cuts along my forearms from blocking Kurome's blade.
Wave tried to strike me again this time with a punch to the right side of my face. I bring up my left forearm to cover my face, after I successfully blocked Wave's punch I use my right hand to punch him back.
Kurome had then taken the time to flank me from my right side, though I could barely see her approaching, I turned as fast as I could but she managed to slash off the padding between my elbow and shoulder, exposing a tiny part of my skin.

"Gotcha.....!"

      Shit. Should keep a bigger eye out for Kurome, she's quick, mostly picking out opportunities to attack, while Wave and Seryu, mostly Wave do the heavy lifting. Speaking of Seryu, she used Koro again this time to get out some machine guns to fire at me.......These shots were hard to evade.....And could probably put a light dent into Incursio. So I had to play it safe, and avoid the shots as much as possible. Occasionally, a shot would hit me in the leg or arm.
      As I was dodging, I started looking out for Kurome and even Koro, as I did not want him to jump out and not let me see again. Seryu had stopped shooting at me for a second, I was getting on edge that Koro would jump out at me again, but no, all I heard was,

"You're wide open......"

I get kicked in the back by Kurome as I tumble into the dirt.

"Koro.....Bulk up....."

Trying to get out of the dirt, I was then picked up by Koro in his muscular form before being slammed down into the dirt once again.

"Agh!!!!!"

      Koro slammed me down one more time, before tossing me over to Seryu. She talks to me in a saddened and disappointed tone,

"You could have made this easier for us.....! Why did you have to join Night Raid??!?"

"Because....I want to bring justice my way....To bring it to the weak who need it......You can change that......"

"But what about all that I have lost???? My father, my mentor, and my associate!!!!!"

"I'm sorry Seryu....."

Seryu seemed a little conflicted by what I said, even hesitating slightly at hitting me. My armor faded away as my body just fell down and then I felt Kurome's blade hit me in the back of the head.

Esdeath POV

Even against three members of Night Raid, he still held his own. Impressive.

"Wave.....Bring him back up to my room...."

"Why?"

"Are you questioning me and what I do?"

"S-Sorry....! I shall bring him up at once...."

Kurome POV

      Akame.......What is it you see with this one? Looking at him and his unconscious body, he would be perfect to add as my puppet....I can hear Akame....Seeing her little boy toy dead and under my control......As me and him kill her together........I want to take out Yatsufusa however, Wave stops me saying,

"The General will not be pleased if you do that...."

".......Fine......"

Sayo POV

Just think Sayo.....Hopefully (M/n)....Is ok...Hopefully he'll be back soon.....Just as I was thinking about (M/n).....The way the air had fell, the way the sun beamed in, I wanted it all to go slow down........Time......Is..................

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Huh?"

That blue haired guy had brought in an unconscious (M/n)......Laying him down gently on the carpet......

"What are you doing to him??????"

"I'm just trying to follow The General's orders..."

"Why don't you just stop this?????"

"I'm sorry...."

The man had already left the room before Esdeath had emerged.....

"So....How shall we start this?"

Najenda POV

"It seems as though (M/n) has been taken alongside Sayo......"

Akame tried to tell me,

"Maybe we could try to...."

"I don't know if we can right now......Even then...I have heard they're being kept alive.....Some agents have reportedly seen the two now in the palace.....Apparently being taken hostage....."

"Can we not go after them Boss?"

"I feel like Esdeath will only lure us into her trap.....She's probably going to take her time with this one....."

"What do you think we should do now?"

"According to some other agents we have sent down South....The Path To Peace wishes to provide assistance for us....However, one of the leads is a double agent working for the minister.....We have to go down to that organization and take him down....Once we do so....They have said they will aid us against the Empire....."

"You think we should go on with this?"

"Yes....I have full confidence in this....."

Akame POV
