Loneliness eats away at you
like a virus hiding among cells,
just waiting to strike
when you least expect it.
Even with friends all around me
I still feel lost and abandoned,
like this place isn't the right fit
but I can never escape.
I try to push the boundaries every day
but nothing seems to work,
I'm always lost in the darkness
unable to do anything.
