Alex Kordylasinski was born in 1995 and raised in the north suburbs of Chicago. His love for writing was sparked in his freshman year of high
school after he started journaling his thoughts and feelings. During his senior year, while attending a Creative Writing course, he learned more structured writing, which helped him build on his usual freeform poetry. He is also a lyricist and writer of short stories. He uses his lyrics as a form of storytelling for his metal vocals. Music has always
been a major part of Alex's life and influences much of his writing.
