Chapter 12

Lucian was now really alone in the mansion. Zeline and Sarah went back to the heavenly realm to sort out some things leaving him behind alone.

Not that he was unhappy about it , actually Lucian felt that it was a blessing in disguise. He slowly began to feel annoyed at the presence of Zeline and Sarah, those two angels. They would always force him to accomplish tasks and other stuff almost annoying him as much as Jin did.

But now that they are gone for a while he has some time to breathe without someone nagging him all the time.

Lucian now alone in this big mansion was lying on his bed. He slept for 5 days straight only occasionally waking up for about 10 minutes to eat and drink something.

But even he a slacker couldn't help but feel tht he had slept enough this past 5 days and that he needed some action.

So he of course called Claude through the magic device to have their daily yoga that he had skipped the past 5 days.

After a while Claude picked up it seemed like he also didn't do the yoga session as they had planned.

"Blondie, are u free now?"Lucian lazily glanced at his father through the crystal.

"...I'm your father. Not blondie 😐." said Claude in a flat tone, while also lazily leaning back on the sofa he was sitting on almost becoming one with it.

Lucian rolled his eyes. "So are we going to have a yoga session now or not?"Lucian asked with impatience.

Claude only looked at Lucian for a long time not answering only staring. After a long time Lucian almost lost his temper and wanted to end the communication device call when Claude finally answered. "Mn." He agreed.

So they both took out their yoga stuff and began to do their yoga session.

After the yoga session he had some gossip talk with Athanasia. He also had to fine out how the development of the storyline was going.

When he finally ended the call it was already late in the afternoon. He decided to go outside and have some fun.

Today was the summer festival of the Sun Goddess. The grand town's market was filled with a harmonious and festive air. Everywhere were stalls that sold food or jewellery and or other souvenirs.

When going out Lucian of course dyed his hair and eye colour to brown. He also wore commonee clothes to blend in.While walking around he got many glances for his beauty of course. The Obelian citizen were known for their love for beauty but in the sunflower town it was on another level. They were practically all face-cons.

So when seeing a small stall selling self carved masks with fine craftsmanship he decided to buy one.

But when he approached he saw that the stall owner was having a peaceful nap.

"Oi. Ol' man wake up!" Lucian said in a rough way that didn't suit his well refined and noble appearance.

Feeling startled and unhappy for having his nap disturbed the stall owner reluctantly raised his had and got up from his seat.

He streached himself and faced the rude person that woke him up.

When both of them face eachother both were stunned.
The stall owner was tall and very beautiful young man even more breathtaking than Lucian himself.

"Y-you!" Lucian opened his eyes wide when seeing the face of the person. Wasn't this the trap angel he encountered when first arriving in the heavenly realm!

Aris also felt stunned when seeing Lucian. Both of them didn't have a pleasant start and facing each other now felt incredibly awkward.

Both stayed silent and only stared at each other. As both of them were people of big and bad temper that was a rare sight to see.

Breaking the awkward silence first Lucian raised one of his brows and looked at Aris with a questioning gaze.

"Why are you here? And is... he here too?" When asking the last question he sounded a bit hesitant. One should know that 4 month already passed since he left the royal palace. So it has been already 6 months since he didn't see Jin anymore. 'Isn't he a system? Then why was he already gone for half a year!! Although I don't mind that he isn't here either.' Lucian thought.

Aris also came back to his sense and answered him truthfully. "It's like this when going to the heavenly realm to inspect some things I and Jin went to see my parents and I proposed marriage to him. But he got super annoyed by me and kicked down to the human realm! Not long afterwards I got a letter from my mother that I should repent making my future husband angry and earn a fortune as a normal commoner."

When remembering everything he still felt that it was unjust. He sulked feeling utterly helpless. They forbid him to use any magic or to get any help from others. He needed to work hard by himself. That was something he truly hated and despised.

"They just don't get me I hate working hard! I just want to realx and be a happy slacker." Aris cried invisible tears.

Lucian felt emotional. He had finally found a fellow slacker. He sympathised with him and also complainined. "I totally get you!" He patted the others shoulder. "I also want to be a slacker but they always want me to work hard and accomplish tasks or other stuff. But ALL I WANNA DO IS TO LIE DOWN AND ENJOY MY LIFE!"

When hearing this Aris couldn't help but sigh and also patted Lucians shoulder. They had found a comrade in each other. Their previously bad first encounter was instantly forgotten by the both of them.

After complaining for a while the both of them were in a much better mood.

"So Jin is still in the heavenly realm?" Lucian asked curiously.

"Yes but he should return soon again." Aris sighed.

"Well well I wish you the best and have good success." Lucian helplessly sighed and gave him a thump up to cheer him up.

"Yea yea bye lil' prince." Aris sat back down and continued to question his life choices.

Before leaving Lucian didn't forget to take one of the masks and to leave some gold coins on the counter.

The masks he bought was a rabbit mask. It was made out of white jade, it had exquisite craved pattern on it.

Lucain walked through the market for a while, curiously looking around everywhere buying every little thing that fell in his eyes. Most of all, all the delicious food.

Having seen enough he carefully sorted out his plan. He didn't only come here to have some fun but also because of his mission. Although he wanted to use this three year to slack off as much as possible he still needed to prepare for certain things.

The Sunflower town was near the Sun city, it was basically like a suburb to this grand city.

In the Sun City was the Imperial Academy located. Where all nobles and royal descendants, so as commoners that had extraordinary qualities study from the of 10 till 18.
Actually when going by the etiquette he also should have entered the academy four years ago but as an abandoned royal child living alone with his maid and guard in the Moon palace he didn't have the chance to go.

Many people of the Academy would often come here to this suburb town for the Sun Festival of the Sun Goddess.

Ijekiel the ultimate second male lead was someone of high status and class and of course attended the Royal Academy of Obelian.

But not being arrogant and having a naive and kind soul he didn't put on airs and accompanied his commoner friends from the Academy to this festival that lasted 3 days.

Lucian hope to have an encounter with him here and to form their friendship in a natural
way.

But while walking around the ine encountered wasn't Ijekiel but a certain jerk.

"Pfff- hahah you look like Mr. Rabbit from Peppa pig!" The youth that said this humiliating words was non other than Aaron that had finally come back from his journey home.

Lucian began to chase Aaron through the whole market with a dark expression. "I dare you to say that again!!"

"No no w-wait! I'm sorry!"
