"All those cricket players are so handsome." said the females,

"They are okay looking, I guess." replied Vidya,

"Come on, Vidya, you would be lucky to have any of one of them as a husband. Take your pick." said Payal,

"I'm not interested in any of them. I am most interested in playing the game." replied Vidya,

"Payal, you are getting married in a few weeks. You have no time to oggle men wearing polo shirts." said Mrs. Rao, (turning off the TV)

"But mom." replied Payal,

"Mom, they were about to score a century. At least let me watch." said Vidya,

"Vidya, I don't want you to play this silly stick game, okay?." replied Mrs.Rao,

"Mom, I love cricket, and I'm really good at it. I can bowl, and I can-." said Vidya,

"Beti, please don't end up like your father." replied Mrs.Rao,

"Dad was a great cricket player." said Vidya,

"Enough he fainted on the cricket field, and he didn't survive after he was taken to the hospital." replied Mrs.Rao,

"But mom, I'm good." said Vidya,

"Cricket has destroyed our family, so no more cricket in this house." replied Mrs. Rao,

Vidya sighed heavily and went up to her room, then looked at the posters of her favorite cricket players.

Payal came into her room and shoved a newspaper in Vidya's face.

"Payal, what's up." said Vidya,

"A cricket team is looking for eleventh player for their team." replied Payal,

"That's great, but it's useless." said Vidya,

"Sis, you are good. Remember those times I saw you playing cricket with dad when you were little." replied Payal,

"And I got him out so many times, then I hit so many sixes when I was batting." said Vidya,

"See, Vidya, you are so good. In fact, you are fantastic." replied Payal,

"Payal, it's the men's team." said Vidya,

"So what, Vidya, you have to start somewhere." replied Payal,

"Mom is going to be furious." said Vidya,

"She'll come around okay she just doesn't want to lose you." replied Payal,

"Okay, I'll try out for the men's team." said Vidya,

"Great, and who knows, maybe the cricket captain will welcome you into the team with open arms." replied Payal,

"I hope so." said Vidya,

At the cricket grounds, Vidya saw a lineup of men, and there was not a single woman besides her in the lineup.

"Oh my gosh that's the captain of the team Shiva D'Alia he is from Chennai and he is a South Indian not to mention he is the most popular guy on the planet and women throw themselves at him." replied Payal,

Vidya looked at Shiva and just shrugged casually at Payal.

"Meh, he's okay, and I'm here to try out, not find a husband." said Vidya,

"He's incredibly attractive, and the thing is he never gives any woman a second glance." replied Payal,

"Payal, your commentary is on point but not helpful for me." said Vidya,
