Valeriana's pov

Verena was sleeping peacefully next to me. I had a tight grip on her like I usually do. She was absolutely beautiful. I'm glad she is my girlfriend. I have the pleasure of waking up next to her most days. She's been staying over for the past three weeks. All because I demanded it.

The nightmares stay away when she is in my bed. I feel safe with her. So safe that even my demons stay hidden. Verena doesn't care about staying here with me. She says that she practically lived here before I came. She just stayed away because her and the guys wanted me to be comfortable and that meant she would give us space to bond and what not.

My arms loosen around my girlfriend. Her eyes snap open instantly. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked over at me. She relaxed when she saw me. She smiled at me before rolling over onto me. She just lays on me causing me to wheeze dramatically as if she were too heavy. Which wasn't the case. I was perfectly fine with the weight of my girlfriend.

"You're so dramatic, little love," she chuckles before she lifts the top half of her body by leaning her weight on her arms. She was currently doing a plank over me. "Want to see how long I can hold it?" she asked jokingly. I rolled my eyes at her before wrapping my leg around her waist and rolling over so I was hovering over her and she was laying on the bed. Verena's hands grabbed mine and she laced our fingers together. She smiles up at me.

"Damn, I love your smile," I mutter, causing Verena to laugh. She pulled me closer to her.

"You should see yours. It's different from when you first got here. It's actually genuine now. It's a good look on you my love," she says, causing me to smile and shake my head. Verena pulled me even closer before she connected our lips.

My door was shoved open. Two sets of footsteps reached my ears. Valerico and Valentino gasp. They hit each other as if making sure the other was seeing what they were seeing. Verena chuckles, causing me to pull away from her. I narrowed my eyes on her before moving off of her. My brothers looked at me as if I had betrayed them. Verena sat up and leaned against the headboard.

"How long?" Valentino asked.

"Since when!?" Valerico shouted.

"Practically the whole time," I muttered while rolling my eyes.

"A few months," Verena answered at the same time as me. Valentino placed a hand over his chest and took a deep breath. Valerico shook his head in disbelief.

"I'm wounded," Valentino states in distraught. My brothers walk out of my room without another word. I look at Verena with an amused look. She let out a loud laugh.

"They look like I just murdered someone that they have secretly been in love with since childhood," I laugh lightly. Verena and I get out of bed and get ready for the day. Once we walk out of my new room we head towards the kitchen. Everyone was in the dining room eating. Vera and I make a plate before joining them. When we walk into the room Valentino and Valerico still look distraught and avoid looking at me. When I sat in the empty seat in front of them they grabbed their plates and turned their chairs around and ate with their plates in their laps. I roll my eyes.

All of my siblings were looking at me. They didn't ask but you could tell they were curious as to why my triplets were icing me out. I smile at them.

"What's going on?" dad asked. Valentino and Valerico turned around after a few more minutes. They dropped their plates on the table and looked around at everyone.

"Did you know they were together?" they asked. Aurelio, Matteo, Nazario, Santino and Trey all start laughing. The Vales looked at them in disbelief.

"We all knew," Trey finally states. My brothers glare at me.

"I thought you wanted them together?" Nazario asked with a smirk.

"Everyone knows but us?" Valerico asked. Verena nods while I shrug my shoulders. I chuckle at them. They were not happy one bit.

"Dude, even Miss Wells knows," I state.

"What's the problem?" Aurelio asked the guys. They shook their heads.

"They played us this whole damn time is the problem. Every time we asked they denied being together just to entertain themselves," Valentino says bitterly. I laugh with Verena.

"It was pure entertainment," Verena laughs. I look at her with a smile. She looks at me. Her eyes soften while she returns my smile.

"How did you not figure it out? You have seen them together. That look is nothing but love," Santino states. Verena grabbed my hand under the table. Her thumb stroked the back of my hand lightly.

"Yeah but that doesn't mean that they were together. Do you know how often we see Valeriana watching Verena from afar? We just thought she was too much of a wimp to go over and talk to her," Valerico states. Verena raised an eyebrow. I smile while shrugging my shoulders.

"Oh come on you know I watch you," I mutter while laughing lightly. Verena's smile widens.

"Yeah but apparently it happens quite often according to your brothers."

I roll my eyes at her before scrunching my nose up as I nudge her with my shoulder. Verena shook her head at me.

"You always look content and happy wherever you are. Plus I always tell you right after watching you. It's no secret," I mumble.

"How can I not be happy and content? I have everything I want or need. Great friends and an amazing girlfriend. If you make it happen dreams do come true," Verena smirks. I roll my eyes at her. "I'm already living my dream," she states.

"Yeah I bet you are. I should know I am pretty amazing," I mutter, causing my brothers to laugh lightly.

"That you are, my love," Verena states before pecking my lips.
