chapter thirteen

Its finally Sunday morning though I wished its Monday already after the regular morning devotion, I finish my chores and was ready to go to church with my uncles wife and Jessy, my uncles wife goes to envergelical church wining all(ECWA )  while my uncle attends Catholic all my cousin attend ecwa with their mom,I on the other hand attend Catholic back at home but since the Catholic church is far from my uncles house I decided to join his wife at ecwa it was amazing I went to the junior section together with Jessy and I was introduce to deferent clubs for me to chose and join so I join the boys Bridget even though there's the girls Bridget I didn't feel comfortable joining that of girls ,I also join the quiz and Bible recitation clubs,I'm really glad I came to church cause all those clubs will fill in the space my phone and tablets have created in me .after the church service I got my schedule on when each club come for practice and the time before heading back home together with my new family i m gradually getting use to the idea of them being my family now I'm used to calling my uncle dad now without feeling weird and I call his wife aunt ,as for rose and Williams the insisted I call them aunt and uncle (if you're wondering yes they're literate  in fact both of them are degree holders) moses said to call him brother and Samson I could call him whatever I want so I chose to call him Sammy for shut ,Jessy still remains Jessy though sometimes I call him baby j or just j.
After I  get home I prepare lunch and everyone eat ,later that evening my uncles wife went for a night shift at the hospital while my uncle was out with his friends rose brought some friends over and I was task with cooking and serving them when they finally want to live she packed a lot of foodstuffs and give it them because they told her they need help can you imagine how can you give out what doesn't belongs to you I don't know how her parents are going to react to this if they find out. later I prepare dinner as I normally do and we all eat even my portion of food is very little because rose measures the quantity of food I eat using a soup bowl and once I miss one meal then I can forget about it cause I won't have it again so most times Sammy demands for more food so he can share with me I can't tell my uncle because I don't see him standing up for ,he only watch when she hit without doing anything so why will it be different now, it would be better if I tell my uncles wife she will stand up for me but what happens when she not at home I will be stoke with Rose at home to get the beating of my life so its better I keep everything to myself .
After the regular night prayers I  went to be relax and let all the stress of the go away I'm exhausted  so no matter how excited I was about tomorrow being Monday I couldn't keep NY eyes open for long and there I go into the dream world.
Finally its Monday morning after the morning devotion I quickly began to my house chores because rose has already made it clear that if I don't finish my house chores including sweeping and mopping all the rooms in the house then I'm not going to school luckily its was easier since I've been cleaning it everyday so there's not much dirty that could take longer time cleaning so immediately finish and prepare breakfast, when they were all eating I went to take my baths I'm not use to eating breakfast that early it's just 7:00am if I do eat now then I'll definitely throw up so I avoided it back at home I eat my breakfast 10:00am .immediately Jessy finish eating I bathes him and dress him up before going to pack his lunch ,after everyone has finish eating I went and clean the dining and washing all the plates at first I was tempted to keep the plates when I get back I'll wash them but I realized if rose finds out she will make a big deal out of it so I quickly wash it when Sammy came in ,hi ,I thought you're stating school today ?yes, then what are you still doing here did you check the time ,I know but I can't live this plates like this rose will be mad at me ,alright you just go I'll help you finish up,are you serious, yes  just go ,so I left and took Jessy's bag and lunch box,come let's go I'm sorry for keeping you, we were almost at the gate when my uncle call me ,come I forgot to give you this last night, it was a very beautiful school bag so I took and said my thanks, if you get to school remove the papers inside and give it to your head teacher she knows what to do as for books the will give you everything there both textbooks and note book's ,OK uncle thank you very much ,you're welcome  now get going you're almost late already.
Finally I'm at school it's very good to live very close to the school after asking around I was able to find the head teacher who gave me my notes book and textbook before showing me to my class, I was sitted at the last row by the left and I like it cause its very close to the window, when the maths teacher came in and started teacher I realized I've cover the top already so its was more like a revision for me ,I sat down and kept observing my classmate looking for some friends there's  is a girl who has been answering all the questions the teacher asked I think I would like to know her since she's bright but she carries  this sophisticated air around her ,in all there's no competition in the class that's what I observed but if I'm going to stay in this school and in this class then things have to change after the teacher finish his explanations he gave a class activities to be done and summit immediately, I finish and summit mine after the class teacher finish marking he distributed the work book back to everyone as expected I have perfect score I put my book inside my bag then I had the class teacher said wow one of you was able to score a perfect score, but sir I think you're mistaken I failed three the girl that has been answering questions earlier said ,I know but I wasn't referring to you Louis, oh so that's her name Louis OK ,then who scored the perfect score she ask looking around the class but no one stood up ,the class teacher was looking at me hoping I'll stand but I didn't even bother to look at him when he couldn't take it anymore he decided to call my name, Nabila please stand up ,wait ,what!!don't tell me she's the one ,yes she's the one who scored all ,but how is that possible she's just joined the class how can that be possible she shouted ,what is about this girl that even the class teacher seems like he's scared of her I hate noise and here she is shouting so I decided to talk so she can keep quite, did anyone ever bother to tell you that this is a school, what do you mean I don't understand she ask, you're shouting and I hate noise so please keep it down ,how dear you talk to me like that, you're doing the same thing again I can hear you ,you don't need to shout the class teacher is still here and you're shouting sir won't you say anything I ask but he was standing there as if he has been poured cold  water luckily for him the bell rang and he quickly pack his books and went out I sat down and continued looking outside the window I can sense her walking towards my desk, who are you she ask I was quite so she continued where did you come from and who is your father I was still quite when she raised her hands and was about to slap when I stop her midair pinching her skin in between my nails I said don't you dear even in your dreams if they pay you to raise your hand at me you better cut it off I'll let you go for today but the next time you try this I'll make sure you regret ever raising your hands on anyone I push her hands away with that I took my bag and was walking towards the class entrance when I heard her voice again, how dear you walk out on me do you know me ,your name is Louis and your arrogant, stupid and stubborn or is there anything else to you than what I've mentioned, do you know who my father is? "Ask your mother" and with that I walkout of the class .
