Connie's POV

"Sasha are you sure about this?"
"Yes, I'm so sure that Mikasa will fall for it."
"Won't she get mad?"
"Not if she doesn't find out" Sasha grins slyly

I grin, we were in a barrel. It's a pretty tight fit, but we fit. People might think of this as "Weird" or "Awkward"
But for me and Sasha it was normal. We didn't even think twice if it's for a prank. And speaking of pranks, we've
gotten pretty good at setting them up, as well as watching them without getting caught and now not getting caught
was crucial. It's Mikasa we're pranking. She can pretty much sense a presence from a mile away. Creepy but cool.

"Are you sure you set everything up properly?" I question Sasha who's pretty much hyperventilating
"Yes! Why? Do you doubt my super amazing master prank skills?" She pouts
"...........no" I sigh and look at her pouting face and smile.

Aww it's so cute when she pouts. But I don't have feelings for her or anything we're just friends and anyways...

"Omg!" She shout whispers (Loudly whispers)
"What? Let me see!" I say and push her over a bit
"Hey!" She whispers and pushes me
"Why didn't you make the hole big enough for the both of us?" I reply and shove her over

Meanwhile the barrel is shaking violently, thank god Mikasa didn't notice.

"Mikasa! Thank god you're here!" Eren screams

Oh ya about that, Eren is pretty hanging 3 meters off the ground from his legs. It was pretty easy to catch him without him knowing it was us. Well it's Eren.

"Eren! That's where you were! Are you ok?" Mikasa says worriedly
"Ya just help me down!" Eren shouts

Mikasa gracefully jumps up and cuts the rope. With a knife that for some reason she has.

"She fell for it." I grin😏
"That isn't solid ground. Or is it?" Sasha says creepily

Mikasa lands on the ground with Eren for a milasecond then the ground falls from under them.

Status update: Mikasa and Eren are currently falling down a 5 meter hole with leaves at the bottom (So they don't get hurt) and will not be able to climb up until we notify Armin that the two are missing then he will find them. Eventually.

"Yes!" We both whisper and smile like idiots
We were so happy that the barrel tipped over.
"Owwwwww... Sasha you ok?" I ask

For some reason it was hard to breathe.

"Ya. That more shocked me then hurt." She replys

Then I realize she's on top of me, well sorta because we were in a barrel and there wasn't much room so we were both crouching sort of and now she's pretty much killing me by curling up into a ball on my stomach.

"Ssssasha." I gasp out
"What?" She says
"Yyyooo... uuurrr~ kkkk. illling mee." I manage to say
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" She says and lays down. Well sorta. At least I can breathe.

Kinda awkward, considering how close we are. Then again it's never bothered us at all before.

"We have to go before people get here." I say and place my hand on her back
"Ok. But why is your hand on my back?" She says blushing
"Just cover your face." I say just as embarrassed
"Ok" she whispers and hides her face in my chest

Oh god. Awkward much.

I kick the barrel open, trying to cover her back so she doesn't get hurt.

We lay there together awkwardly for a few seconds.

"Cough cough" I say and look away
"Oh ya sorry!" Sasha gets up face tinted with pink
I get up and scratch the back of my head.
"We should run." I say

She smiles

"Race ya" she says
"Fine, to the spot?" I grin
"Where else?"

We dash all the way through the camp eventually reaching the edge of it, then we look for the hole under the fence we made then we crawl under. Then up the hill to the top and then we sprint to a giant tree.
As always, Sasha won. By a few seconds.

"You can see those two lovebirds in our trap from here!" She yells excitedly
"Really?" I pant out of breath
"Ya!" We high five
"Here" she hands me a water bottle.
"From the stash" she points to the tree.

Yes we have a stash. Just in case.

"Oh thanks." I reply and take the water.

Chugging it down I could really see that Eren and Mikasa were struggling.

"Omg they really are struggling." I laugh
"Yes they are" and she joins my laughter
And here we are. The two of us laughing like our life depended on it.
