The thing about the curse, Empress Helena finally found out what's behind the curse between her and the three Northern Dragons.

"This curse... my mother cursed me? H-How can you be so sure? She's my mother! D-Don't you dare slander her in front of me!" Empress Helena said as she shook her head in denial. No, she doesn't want to hear any more of what they have to say.

Her mother may be strict and cold towards her, but she is still her last family member left! Throwing shade about her mother in front of her will do nothing for anyone at all!

"Lady Pauline, I know you are confused, but it is the truth, The past empress schemes towards all four of us... means a lot of harm to us and the people around us," Li Lian said to her who shook her head in denial.

"No... No! Why are you three trying to tarnish the name of my mother?! Stop it!" Empress Helena shouted as tears ran down from her eyes. This time, Miss Cage stepped forward and motioned the three dragons to leave the room first. They reluctantly did so and closed the door. When Cage knew that they were already far away, she turned towards Helena who was still sobbing. 

Cage waited for the lady to calm down and handed her a glass of water.

"The things that I have to tell you were from the will of the God of Death, Lady Helena, are you willing to hear it?" She asked and held Helena's gaze. Helena looked at her way with confusion. The god of death? What does this curse and her mother have to do with the god of death's will?

"I am confused, Miss Cage, what do you mean to receive the will of the god of death? Why do I have to accept it?" Helena asked and Cage explained to her that the God of death was closely related to Cale's actions and his relation in the western country. 

Although confused, Helena agreed and listened to Miss Cage and the message of the God of Death. The more that she listened, the more confused she got. When Miss Cage finished, she put her hand on her forehead, chuckling with a bitter feeling inside of her chest.

"A-Are you okay, Lady Helena?" Miss Cage asked her, and Helena couldn't help but laugh. 

"Do you mean to tell me, this God of Death, wants to eliminate my mother for being a soul from another dimension? Ha! Hahaha!" Helena laughed out loud while holding the glass in her hand tightly. 

"L-Lady Helena, I-" Miss Cage stood up and wanted to console her, but Helena stopped her. 

"The god of death wants me to end the life of my mother, the person who conceived and raised me, for the sake of this world? Ha... Hahaha!" Helena cannot help her chest get squeezed with the feeling of hate and surprise.

"this god of death, is an entity that cannot enter this world, and yet they dare to influence the beings here to abide by their will? What foolishness is this," Helena stood up and wiped the tears away from her face. Miss Cage looked at her with a worried look on her face but Helena only tried to calm herself down.

"Please leave me alone for the meantime... everything... everything is too overwhelming," Helena said and Miss Cage reluctantly left the room. 

When she was alone in the room, Helena's calm front crumbled as tears rushed down from her eyes. She collapsed next to the bed, her mind was in shambles from all the information she had gathered till now.
