Time was getting tired of nearly dying. All of the Chain was! At least it had been about an hour's rest, they should have a bit more time to relax while traveling through Wild's Hyrule to Kakariko.

I mean, monster attacks aren't necessarily common, unless you were part of the Chain.
Then they happened every other day or so.

They were walking over a bridge near the village, so he knew that they were safe, being so close to a village. Wild told them to stay where they were about halfway over the bridge, then kept walking. Time was about to follow and ask what he was doing, but Wild glared at him and the Hero of Time shrank back.

Holy crap that kid's intense. Time thought. Wild walked over to the other side, where a traveler stood. He tried to keep walking past, but they called out to him. "Hey, you're that hero, right? The Champion?" After Wild nodded at the stranger, who really didn't seem out of the normal to Time.

Everyone knew Wild, even if it was just his title in this Hyrule. "So, your name is Link then?" The stranger asked. After Wild nodded, they continued. Wild seemed tense, but Time still didn't see why. He knew that the kid had trust issues, and that his Hyrule was much more dangerous than the rest of theirs. Look at his scars for Hylia's sake!

"So, you were the one who kill Master Kogha!" The stranger disappeared into a small puff of smoke and paper, and in their place a person in a red uniform and a mask that looked oddly like the Sheikah symbol, but upside down, appeared in their place. They held a curved weapon that looked wicked sharp.

"FOR MASTER KOGHA!" They screamed as they ran at Wild. The rest of the Chain were all about to run at the attacker when Wild knelt down, turquoise flames suddenly surrounding him and suddenly an updraft underneath him. He shot into the air, holding onto his Paraglider, as he called it, and a bird-like figure flew up with him. It looked like a Rito from Wind's Hyrule.

Wild pulled out a bow and shot the assassin in the shoulder twice, once on each shoulder. The attacker disappeared in the same smoke and paper as before, completely gone this time. It looked like they dropped multiple bunches of bananas, rupees, and the curved blade.

Wild calmly dropped to the ground, catching himself before the fall became dangerous with his Paraglider and landed firmly on the ground. "It's safe to go now." He calmly stated.

He put the items dropped by the person into his Slate, which still astounded Time, although he tried not to dwell on it too much. "Who was that?!" Legend demanded. He looked shaken up at how normally Wild was acting about this.

"A Yiga, a clan of Sheikah traitors that want to kill me." He said in a way-too-calm tone. "Why?" Twilight questioned. "They stole a precious artifact from the Gerudo and I helped get it back, but I had to go through their leader, 'Master' Kohga." He put finger quotes around 'Master' for some reason. Probably just to insult the person for some reason.

If so, it was definitely deserved.

"Anyway, I had to fight him, and he ended up falling into his own bottomless pit. Genius, right? Now they all want to kill me even more than they did before. They are on Ganon's side, so that's delightful. But they had awful armor and are terrible at disguises, so it's easy to find and fight them." Wild yet again way-too-calmly explained.

"What they heck is wrong with your Hyrule." Time said while pinching the bridge of his nose. "Well, it's been sitting in Ganon's evil, hatred, and malice for over 100 years, so you do the math. Stronger enemies, and more enemies." He explained.

"It's great when you have no memory or knowledge of anything and everything, but enough of that. Let's keep walking. Kakariko isn't far, just another half mile." And with that, Wild continues to move along, like nothing had happened.
