A young teenage boy with long silver hair styled in two buns, and dressed in rather loose fitting white clothes stood on the rooftop of the Zoldyck estate, overlooking the sprawling grounds below. This was none other than Aoi Zoldyck.

As his sharp cyan eyes scanned the horizon, his mind calculated every detail with precision. He gave off a slight aura, his electrified nen a trait of his specialist nen category, crackling around him, also serving as a testament to his exceptional talent and intellect. Aoi was the eldest son of the renowned Zoldyck family, and as the sole heir, he carried the weight of their legacy on his shoulders.

As the eldest son, Aoi had always been expected to excel in every aspect of his training. From a young age, he had showcased his exceptional abilities, especially in his mastery of the pole, his weapon of choice. Raised within the strict and disciplined environment of the Zoldyck estate, Aoi had undergone rigorous training to hone his combat skills and mastery of nen, solidifying his reputation as a genius and prodigy.

Aoi's oldest younger brothers, Illumi and Milluki Zoldyck, approached him on the rooftop. Illumi, with his piercing eyes but rather plain demeanor, regarded Aoi with a mix of respect and competitiveness. Milluki, on the other hand, was more boisterous and outspoken, always vying for attention in the shadow of his elder brother.

Illumi fixed his gaze on Aoi and spoke in a measured tone, "Aoi, it's time for you to prove yourself in the field. Father has entrusted you with your first official mission. Are you ready to take on the responsibility of representing the Zoldyck family?"

Aoi nodded confidently, his electrified nen crackling in response. "I am more than ready, Illumi. I have trained my entire life for this moment. I will not disappoint father or tarnish the Zoldyck name."

Milluki scoffed, "Hmph, don't get too full of yourself, Aoi. Just because you're our father's favorite doesn't mean you're invincible. I could take on a mission just as well as you can."

Illumi turned to Milluki with a calm demeanor saying, "Milluki, you are still young and have much to learn. Focus on honing your skills before you speak of taking on missions."

As the three brothers continued their conversation, their youngest brother, Killua Zoldyck, approached them. Killua was a free spirit, always pushing the boundaries set by their strict upbringing. Aoi regarded Killua with a mix of concern and admiration, knowing that his younger brother possessed a rebellious spirit that could prove to be a double-edged sword.

"Aoi, are you heading out on a mission?" Killua asked, his eyes glinting with curiosity.

Aoi nodded, "Yes, Killua. Father has deemed me ready to accompany him on a mission. I will be observing and learning from him as I take my first steps into the world of assassination."

Killua's expression turned serious, "Be careful, Aoi. The world out there is not like the controlled environment of our estate. I don't want to see you getting hurt."

Aoi placed a reassuring hand on Killua's head, offering a small but genuine smile, typically uncharacteristic of the family before saying, "Thank you, Killua. I will be cautious and vigilant. You have always been a source of worry for me, and I realize I also worry you, but I promise you my dear youngest brother I will do my best to make our family proud."

As they spoke, their father, Silva Zoldyck, stepped onto the rooftop, his imposing presence commanding the attention of everyone present. Silva's steely gaze landed on Aoi, and he spoke with a voice that brooked no argument, "Aoi, it is time. We leave for the mission now."

Aoi straightened his posture and turned to face his father, "Yes, father. I am ready to accompany you and learn from your expertise."

Silva nodded, his expression unreadable, "You have trained for this moment, Aoi. Now is the time to prove your worth as the heir of the Zoldyck family."

As Aoi and Silva prepared to leave for their mission, Aoi glanced back at his brothers, feeling the weight of their expectations and the legacy of the Zoldyck family resting on his shoulders. With his electrified nen crackling around him, Aoi took a deep breath and steeled himself for the challenges that lay ahead.

Timeskip

Over the next 3 weeks Aoi had come to accompanying Silva on numerous missions, learning from his expertise and honing his own skills along the way. They had forged a strong coordination and trust of abilities, in the heat of battle, the trust running deep like the blood that flowed through their veins.

Today, as they were preparing to wrap up a particularly dangerous mission, Silva received a request for another assignment. It was said to be one of the most treacherous missions the family had ever undertaken, and Silva believed that Aoi was finally ready for such a challenge.

Silva placed a hand on his son's shoulder, and although his tone was rather stiff, Aoi could feel the truth in which Silva spoke as he said, "Aoi, you have proven yourself time and again. You are more than capable of handling this mission with me. I have every confidence in you."

With a steel resolve, Aoi nodded, accepting the daunting task that lay ahead. They embarked on the mission, navigating through the shadows with silent determination. Their instincts were sharp, their movements synchronized, a testament to the years of training and collaboration they had undergone together.

However, their journey took an unexpected turn when they encountered the infamous Phantom Troupe, a group of deadly and enigmatic thieves known for their merciless nature and potent usage of nen. Silva's eyes narrowed as he assessed the situation, knowing that this encounter posed a threat unlike any Aoi had yet faced before.

"Aoi, stay close to me," Silva commanded, his voice firm and unwavering. "We must proceed with caution."

As they cautiously advanced, they came face to face with the leader of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo Lucifer. A feeling akin to caution came over Aoi as he locked eyes with the rather young figure, a sense of foreboding settling over him like a shroud.

Silva stepped forward, his presence radiating an aura of intimidation. "Chrollo, your presence here is unwelcome. Leave now, before things escalate further."

Chrollo's enigmatic smile sent shivers down Aoi's spine as he replied in a calm, measured tone. "Ah, Silva Zoldyck. Always a pleasure to see you. And who do we have here? A new recruit, perhaps? Or are you finally passing the torch to the next generation?"

Aoi felt the weight of Chrollo's words, the implication of his father's unspoken intentions hanging heavily in the air. Silva's gaze remained steadfast as he responded, his voice unwavering.

"Aoi is more than capable of facing you, Chrollo. If you seek conflict, you will find it."

A tense silence enveloped them, the air crackling with palpable tension. Aoi felt the weight of responsibility pressing down on his shoulders, the gravity of the situation sinking in. He knew that this moment would test his resolve like never before.

As Chrollo and Silva squared off, their intentions clear, the chapter came to a close.

The impending clash between Aoi and Chrollo loomed ominously, the outcome uncertain. Aoi braced himself for the inevitable confrontation, the fire of determination burning brightly within him. This was a battle he was prepared to face, a testament to his unwavering commitment to the Zoldyck family legacy.
