I put my hand on my cheek as I listened to Mr tanner. Last night at the grill was fun but this, This was boring. I love history don't get me wrong Mr tanner makes it boring.

"The battle of willow creek. took place right at the end of the war in our vary own mystic falls."I sighed and flipped open my sketchbook.

The drawing I was working on was half way done."How many casualties resulted in this battle?"Mr tanner walked in front of his desk.

I was praying he didn't pick on my I was thankful when he picked on Bonnie."Um...a lot?"I chuckled and looked at the desk in front of me.

"I'm not sure. Like a whole lot."I hated to say it but I loved that day it was the day Katherine died. I didn't want to have the blood of her on my hands.

Because if she didn't die that day I would have killed her. Even against my brothers wills."cute becomes dumb in an instant Mrs Bennett."

I smiled when I finished Jeremy's eyes. I wasn't sure why I was so I interested in him. That's a lie I do his blood smelled so amazing.

Unlike Stefan I didn't spend months watching him so I had no idea who he was how he acts."Mr. Donovan."I smiled looking back at him.

"Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded Jock stereotype?"I looked away and back at my paper.

"It's okay Mr Tanner im cool with it"

I chuckled."Hey pay attention."Stefan whispered in my ear next to me."why we already know everything in this class."He shrugged closing my notebook.

"We came here to be normal so let's be normal."I knew he was right but I didn't see the point I was only here for him I guess the friends are nice though.

"Hmm Elena?"Tanner looked over at the girl who I tried not to get to know."Surely you can enlighten us about one of the towns most significantly historical events."

She shrugged shaking her head"I'm sorry, I...I don't know."I wanted to slap Mr Tanner with the look he gave her.

"I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena. But the personal excesses ended with summer break."I was shocked when my brother spoke up he normally didn't in class.

"There were 346 casualties."I looked over at him counfused."Unless you're counting local civilians."

I looked down at my paper. I tried not to think about that day to much. It was the day I died.

The day Katherine got my brothers killed they may not be dead now but there hearts aren't beating. And I will never be able to have a home for a long period of time.

"That's correct."Mr tanner said looking over at him"Mr..."He trailed off not knowing his last name."Salvatore."Stefan tells him.

Elena looked away with a smile. I eyed her"Salvatore? Any relation to the original settlers here at mystic falls?"Stefan nodded"distant."

"Well, varry good. Except, of course, there were no civilian casualties in this battle."Oh boy was he wrong there were a lot.

"Actually, there were 27, sir."I looked over at Stefan who glanced at me for a second."confederate soldiers they fired on the church believing it to be housing weapons. They were wrong."

They were and they killed one of my oldest friends that night. I would never be able to forgive them for that. Stefan looked over at me."It was a night of great loss."

I looked down with a frown that day still haunted me." The founders archives are stored in civil hall if you like to brush up on your facts, Mr Tanner."

I gasped looking at Stefan."Stefan."I hit his shoulder but he didn't dare take his eyes off Mr Tanner. He was doing this all for Elena because of how Mr tanner treated her.

I was proud of my brother. We walked out of the class once it was ended. "Stefan you better make nice with tanner."

He shrugged turning towards me"oh come on you know the class should knew about what actually happened that night, who actually died that night."I shook my head looking down.

I bit my lip."You miss her don't you."I nodded playing with my ring."Callie was one of my greatest friends of course I miss her."

He sighed"are you going to that party tonight?"He asked changing the subject. I was thankful for that I nodded."Sure might as well."

He smiled."Why So you could see Tyler."I raised my eyebrow."Oh come on I seen you the other night with him."I shrugged looking down.

"I don't like Tyler. I like him as a friend besides he's banging Vicky."He raised his eyebrow."Banging?"I nodded.

"Impatiently that's what they say now days for sex."He shook his head as we walked down the hall."I got to go meet Tyler he's gonna fill me in on a few things."

Stefan only smiled."Fill in a sertan thing you mean."I practically threw up all over the floor."Stefan Gross!"He laughed leaving me behind.

I was thankful I haven't seen my brother happy for a long time we have these moments but it never lasts I just want him to be happy.

I can't believe he thinks I like him. I mean he's hot and everything but he just isn't the nicest guys to the girls he dates so I've heard.

I walked down the hall and right away I spotted him. Time to get some answers. I didn't know what I was gonna ask without sounding like a stalker.

But for some reason I wanted to know about Jeremy. It's not like me and him would ever be together or anything. I just wanted to know.
