"We used to be human too."

It was dark out and we still haven't heard anything from Stefan. I was getting more worried than I should be. Why does Damon have to do this. Stefan made me turn and I got over it in fact I even love him now.

"Maybe we should cheek in with Matt?"Jeremy suggested as Elena handed him a plate."he'll call when he finds her."I grabbed a bag of chips and started to close it."well, what are we supposed to do?"

He bent down and picked up some Chinese food that was on the ground."we wait we're supposed to wait."Elena handed me a plate which I took from her."I don't know what's wrong with her."Elena looked over at me for a split second.

"She'll be fine."I sighed shaking my head."your sister right Jer. It's all going to be alright."I grabbed the plate in his hand."I'll put this away."He smiled down at me he then leaned down and kissed my forehead.

I knew Elena was watching from where we stood. The door bell rang  interrupting the moment.

We all made eye contact before we quickly walked towards the door. Elena opened it with a gasp this is not good. I quickly grabbed Jeremy's arm he was here. Elena tried to push the door closed but failed.

Damon stood there with a smile on his face. He looked up at me."Little sister? Did you fix the boy problem?"I glared at him I wanted to kill him ."Octavia take Jeremy up stares."I closed my eyes Stefan wouldn't want me leaving Elena.

"I can't leave Stefan wouldn't-"She cut me off looking at me."Go!"I moved my hand down to Jeremy's hand and dragged him up the stairs."what's going on?"Jeremy asked as we went into his room.

"Damon hasn't always been the nicest."I told him as we sat on his bed."he said horrible things to me and Stefan."He looked at me confused."What did he say."I looked down I couldn't tell him.

If I told him I knew he would get angry and want to fight Damon I also knew he wouldn't be able to win."It's in the past it doesn't matter to me anymore."That was the biggest lie I have told. It hurts me to this day.

I listened to everything Damon was saying downstairs ."are you sure."I nodded as he put an arm around me. I sighed of relief when I heard the door close. I put my head on his shoulder. I knew Elena was coming up I heard her every step.

She flung the door open."I think you should go home."I lifted my head off of Jeremy."why do you have to be like this to her?"Jeremy asked I stood up but he grabbed my arm."Please stay..."I frowned looking down at him.

"I'm not leaving I'm just going to talk to Elena."He nodded I leaned down and kissed his head."I'll be back, Elena come with me."I walked out of the room past her she followed as we walked down the steps.

"I won't hurt him and he will never find out about us."I told her honestly as we walked into the kitchen."I don't feel safe."I shook my head."I didn't chose this for my life Elena."I told her honesty."but you could be like Stefan."

I shook my head."I'm not going to change myself Elena I know it wrong to you."She put her hand in the counter."I love Jeremy."She frowned shaking her head."All those people died since you come into town."

She was right."Damon was the one who did that I don't drink from people, I drink from blood bags. I take them from the hospital."she looked back at me disgusted."So you still them."I didn't know how else to tell her.

"Please, Elena please know that I will never hurt him. If I do you could stake me yourself."She raised her eyebrow."Because even if I did hurt him I would want to die."she seemed to be listening to every little thing I said.

"You can never tell him what you are."I nodded in response."I will never tell him."She looked as if she was struggling she didn't want me hanging out with him."dose this mean I can be with him?"

She looked over at me."I can't be with Stefan...I'm not sure if it's so go for my brother either but you won't listen to me."I smirked when she frowned she was right even if she told me no I still would."your right, like I said you don't control me."She glared at me.

"I'll be up stairs."I walked up the steps and into his room. He was lying in his bed with the blankets on."Hey."He looked up at me with a smile. He lifted up the blanket. I slowly made my way over to the bed and got underneath them.

He put it over me and rapped his arms around me."I know this has got to be hard on you."I tilted my head up to look at him my head still on his chest."I just wanted to remind you. I like you so much more than Vicki."I smile at him.

"I know Jer."He leaned down and kissed me. I closed my eyes tightly."Stay here tonight."I nodded snuggling back into him."Of course."he tightened his grip on me. I closed my eyes when I heard Stefan talking to Elena outside.

She feed she like us now and someone like Vicki can't hang out with Jeremy she's a drugie which means that's all going to play a part in it. That's when I heard her crying."Jer I'll be right back."

I quickly got up."Where you going?"He asked as I walked towards the door."Down stairs. I'll be back."I walked down the steps and saw her crying."Elena?"I put my hand on my heart.

I crouched down towards her."I know Elena, I know he never wanted this he just wanted to be happy with you."I grabbed her hand and surprisingly she didn't jump away."I have feelings for him...but I can't be with him."

I frowned."I know come here."I was shocked when she actually rapped her arms around me."it's going to be okay she shook her head."No because you your with my brother and I can't....."I closed my eyes.

"I won't hurt your brother."I said pulling away from her."my brother only wants you happy and safe."a tear slipped down her face. I stood up from the ground."please understand that we used to be human too."

I walked away from her and up the stairs I really hope that what I said she takes to heart. I know she will never be okay with us. I opened Jeremy door and he was fast asleep. I folded my arms and leaned on the doorframe.

I couldn't help the thoughts that popped into my head what if I do hurt him. There were times I would grave blood. When he made me upset or angry. What if one day I just snapped. I looked down at the ground.

I was never going to leave or hurt him.
