The door bell rang I smiled as I walked down the stairs I been smiling a lot more then normal Octavia made me really happy I should have chose her sooner.
I walked over to the door but it was the wrong Salvatore."Stefan what are you doing here?"I asked
He looked around the house."Is Elena here."I nodded and pointed up stairs."I need your help man to man."I looked at him confused."I kinda been leaving Elena hanging and I need to make up for it."
He smiled at him."Can you do me a favor and tell me what her favorite meal is?"I knew Octavia would want me to help him out so I decided I would." chicken Parmesan."He smiled at me.
"I'm gonna run to the store do you think when I get back you can send her down here without telling her I'm here."I nodded and looked back at the stairs."Sure."He held his hand up"thanks man."
He walked away from the house I shook my head with a smile. It didn't take vary long tell he came back."I'll go get her."I walked up the stairs with a smile on my face.
Elena was snuggling with her bear he looked really sad. I leaned against the doorframe."you okay?"I questioned looking down at her."Is Octavia in there?"she not getting out of that question.
"Don't answer a question with another question."I said with a chuckle."Maybe what's wrong with you?"She didn't answer for a few seconds I knew what was wrong it was Stefan good thing he's down stairs.
"I'm miserable."that only made me smile"well, you should go get something to eat."I been harsh on Elena Octavia made me see that. She was only trying to help me after all.
I walked into my room and sat back on my bed."It was vary nice what you did for Stefan vary romantic."Vicki said standing in front of me."Well Octavia would want me to help."
She rolled her eyes."Look what I found."She held up a pill bottle."Elena Gilbert take one tablet four to six hours as needed for pain."I stood up as she walked over to my desk.
"Those are left over from the car accident."I told her as she sat down on my chair"So she won't miss them."I closed my eyes tightly I told Octavia I wouldn't do that stuff anymore.
She grabbed my pocket watch"No no no no not with that that's that's an antique."She looked at me strangely but put it in my hand and chose something else to smash it with.
She smashed up the pill"I feel like we're always getting high."She looked up at me with a smile."That's the beauty of choice."I didn't want to do this not anymore not after I got with Octavia.
"Well, Let's choose not to. I mean we don't have to be high all the time, right."If she stopped getting high it would be 10 times easier for me to stop.
"I really hope you're not one of those guys who changes himself because he got a new girlfriend."I raised my eyebrow."I mean would that be a bad thing?"She looked at me annoyed.
She ignored my question and continued with what she was doing she handed me some of the mushed pill."Nah I'm good."I waved her off she was Annoyed."I said I wanted to be together why did you choose her."
I rolled my eyes at her."Because she cares for me more than you do."She ignored me yet again. I just decided to drop the subject.

I stood next to Matt helping him wash a car."You know you could find a Livy girl."I told him as he stared at Elena and my brother."Oh yeah like who?"He questioned.
I shrugged as I rubbed the car."anyone here would be lucky to have you Matt."He shut shrugged. And looked down."what about you you would do the same with Jeremy."
He was probably true about that one."well Jeremy with Your sister right now and I'm not jealous."He gave me a look that told me I was.
I sighed and looked down."you know just because I told you about him and Vicki doesn't mean you can use it against me."I finally got him to smile. I threw the rag at him and he jumped back with a laugh.
"Hey!"He yelled smacking me back. I giggled me and Matt had become close since the founders party. I wasn't talking to Tyler anymore after he punched me. I just didn't have time for that.
That ended in me not having many friends. so I often went to Jeremy or Matt to hang out. Once we finished the car. We moved into the next one"hey where did Caroline go?"I asked she wouldn't have left voluntarily.
"Not sure Elena said something about more towels."I nodded Stefan walked up to me."Hey I'm gonna go him do you want to come?"I smiled at him."No Elena?"I questioned he just shrugged.
"I think she went home."I looked over at Matt."you got this."I asked throwing the tag into a bucket."yeah go on."I playfully punched his shoulder."thanks man."
We walked away from the school."thanks man?"Stefan questioned I just shrugged."what Matt has become one of my best friends here."He nodded I looked over at him."what?"
"You're not falling for another man are you."I chuckled shoving him slightly."Because I'm so that girl."I get why he was asking me I treat all my guy friends like we're dating even if we're not.
We don't hold hands and stuff like that we're just close. We used are speed to get home."is that a bird?"I questioned when we walked in. It was eaten. Stefan crouched down in the hallways.
He looked up at me and nodded. Damon had gotten out."Oh my god Zach!"I yelled and ran towards the basement Stefan at my heal."Zach!"Stefan yelled as we walked up to the cell door.
I gasped and took a step back."oh, no, no, no, Zach."Tears formed in my eyes he was there on the ground dead Damon had killed him. Stefan crouched in front of him.
I slowly crouched down next to Stefan and I let out a sob. Stefan looked at me he was hurt to I could see it all over his face. He brought me into a hug and I cried into his shoulde.
Stefan and Damon weren't as close to Zach as I was. I talked to him every damn day even if we didn't live here. I would text him even call him."Shh."Stefan tried to calm me down.
"I know what I need to do."Stefan said standing up. My eyes went wide"what are you gonna do?"I asked in a teary voice."I'm gonna kill him."Part of me didn't want that he was out brother after all but then I looked down at Zach's dead body.
