Latter that night. I stood next to Caroline with a smile."So tell me about your brother his he coming to this thing."I nodded

"He'll be here soon."I took a sip of my beer with a smile."Is he looking for a girl."I rolled my eyes."No not really but he normally doesn't bother with girls."She looked down with a frown.

"I don't want it be a bitch care but my brother...he's never gonna date you. I would totally be all for it if he did but he won't."She looked past me and I turned around to see.

My brother walked up the path."I'm still gonna try."She said walking away."Hey."I smiled up at Jeremy."Um hi."He looked me up and down.

"Do you smoke?"I raised my eyebrows."No, not anymore."He tipped back his beer chugging it whole."Damn I wanted pot."I watched as he walked away from me.

Well that went well. Tyler told me a whole lot. Jeremy as gone on a bender he's not the same kid before his parents. He's got rude and shady he gets into a lot of fights at school.

A part of me wanted to make him happy compel him to have a better life but I know I couldn't do that. I walked up to Matt who was standing someone close to the bridge.

"Hey."I said with a smile. He looked down a me and rolled his eyes."What I do to you?"I asked putting some of my wait on one foot."Nothing."He stared at Elena and my brother.

"Listen Matt I'm not my brother."He looked down at me."so stop treating me like I just shit on your pillow. And you shouldn't treat my brother shitty he didn't do anything."

He licked his lips nodding."I know I'm sorry she's my girl I've always loved her. I'm worried for her."I looked down"Maybe you should move on Matt she broke up with you."

He looked down I knew what I said wouldn't matter he was always gonna love her"hey what's up."Bonnie said with a smile as she walked towards us.

"Got you a new beer."I smiled and took it"thanks."She nodded with a smile."well you were right." Caroline. Said walking up to me."He's just interested in Elena."

I frowned."Come on let's have fun! It's a party we don't need to be down."I said looking at all three of them. Matt and Stefan were making eye contact from a distance.

"Come on Matt don't stare."He looked over at me"I wish she didn't break up with me I don't get it."

He looked down."she's going through a hard time Matt. I've told you give it time."Bonnie said rubbing his arm."More time for her to fall in love with her brother."

I gave him a really look"Matt I'm not the bad guy here."I remind him he nodded I took a sip of my beer.

"So, let's talk about how Stefan totally told Mr tanner he was practically wrong."Caroline said with a smirk."I don't want to talk about Stefan."Mad said angrily.

"All right chill."I sighed shaking my head."You guys need to lighten up."They all looked at me."It's a party I haven't been to a party in a long time."

They all looked at me."So let's party."Bonnie chuckle and automatically changed the conversation

"So we're missing a person on cheerleading squad you want to show us what you got join in."Bonnie asked I smiled looking at her in shock.

"Me why me?"I questioned she shrugged"Your gorgeous I'll teach you and Elena the routine."I looked over at Caroline."I'm head cheerleader."I nodded

"Are you down with this."Bonnie gave her a look that made Caroline sigh."Yeah I guess that's fine."I smiled at her."I'm in I guess."I was trying to hide my excitement.

Like before I have never been a cheerleader. I was excited"hey, um are you okay? Um, your eye, it's just, it's..."I quickly looked over at Stefan.
