Asahi Karuizawa slowly opened his eyes, finding himself in an otherworldly dimension with no sign of his friends. The unfamiliar surroundings disoriented him for a moment. With spiky black hair, brown eyes, and freckles on his cheeks, Asahi was a distinctive figure who sported purple-rimmed glasses.

"Where am I?" he muttered to himself, surveying the cosmic expanse around him. Asahi's adventurous spirit and passion for exploration fueled his desire to become an adventurer, a dream he aspired to share through adventure videos on CureTube.

His memories flashed back to the moment when he, along with classmates Sora, Mashiro, and friends Tsubasa, Ageha, and Elle-chan, were in Skyland. A sudden monster attack had disrupted their peaceful outing. As the creature unleashed a dangerous beam toward Sora, Asahi, driven by an instinct to protect, jumped into action.

A blinding light enveloped Asahi as he shielded Sora, causing the monster to disintegrate. The brightness overwhelmed him, and the next thing he knew, he woke up in this mysterious space-like dimension.

"So, you're awake," a familiar male voice came from behind Asahi.

"No, why that voice?" Asahi exclaimed excitedly, recognizing the voice as his father's. He turned around, confirming his guess as he saw none other than Kazuma Karuizawa, his father, smiling at him. Kazuma was dressed in an outfit similar to Sora and the other members of the Azure Guards of the Skyland Kingdom.

Kazuma, a member of the Azure Guards, belonged to a defense organization formed by the first king and queen of Skyland to protect against villain attacks. Although it primarily functioned as an elite fighting force, the Azure Guards occasionally engaged in investigative operations.

Once recognized as one of the best in the organization, Kazuma was also a close friend of Captain Shalala, the current leader of the Azure Guards. During a battle defending Skyland from a monster attack, Shalala and Kazuma fought side by side. However, the battle took an unexpected turn when a strange tunnel of light appeared, causing the monster to be destroyed by its radiance while Kazuma vanished into the light.

"Father!" Asahi exclaimed, happily hugging Kazuma.

"You've grown up well, Asahi," Kazuma remarked as his son embraced him, eventually releasing Asahi from the hug.

"Did you save me back there?" Asahi asked.

"Yes, I did," Kazuma responded.

"Where am I?" Asahi inquired, his confusion evident. "Am I even still in Skyland?"

"Yes, you are," Kazuma confirmed.

"Oh, I almost forgot! By the way, Father, I was here with my friends, and when I was last with them, one of my friends named Sora was being attacked by a monster that you saved me from. I'm sure she's fine now, but I have to make sure. Could you please tell me where you first picked me up?" Asahi asked his father.
