It's been said that for any event, there is an infinite number of possible outcomes. Our choices determine which outcome will follow, and therefore, all possibilities that could happen do happen across countless parallel universes. In these divergent universes, known history is bent, like a tree, and spread out like a branched trunk growing into multiple leaves of what-might-have-beens. But in those myriad universes, what might have been is what actually happened.

How would the Genshin Impact storyline change if the story featured Kyle Rayner, the Green Lantern, as the Traveler stranded on Teyvat? He would meet Paimon and search for the other surviving Lantern Corps members who also ended up on Teyvat, instead of Aether, who wakes up 500 years later after being separated from Lumine by a Teyvat god named Asmoday.

I fused their lore and imagined telling the story titled Green Lantern: Genshin Planet.

The origin: In the past, there was a great war between the various seven Lantern Corps: Green, Blue, Red, Sinestro, Orange, Indigo, and the Star Sapphire Corps, supported by the Oans (Guardians of the Universe), against Nekron, the entity that represents the emotional spectrum of Black (Death). Nekron's Black Lantern Corps, composed of revived undead turned evil by his blessed Black Lantern ring, fueled by the darkness of death, fought in a war called the Blackest Night, which involved various galaxies across the universe. At one point, many Lantern Corps members, including various Guardians, were killed by the Black Lantern Corps, leaving only a small number of surviving members, including Kyle Rayner, the Green Lantern.

Ganthet, the last surviving Guardian, was alive in the middle of the war. Nekron's right-hand man, a Black Lantern named Black Hand, approached him on the battlefield and told him to surrender. But Ganthet refused. He used his remaining power as an Oan to create various Lantern Corps rings (Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange, Sapphire, Indigo), then used their power to teleport himself and the other survivors to an unknown planet. Most of the survivors were in shock as they arrived on a planet in an unknown space sector called Teyvat. While Ganthet and the rings went missing, Nekron sent Black Hand to follow them to this planet, Teyvat. Realizing this, Kyle decided to help the inhabitants and convince the other Lanterns to join him in defending Teyvat from the Black Lantern Corps and other evil threats.
