Niall's Pov*

I checked my watch for the thousandth time in a few minutes. Where was she? Maya never misses a day of college.

When I heard the bell ring I glanced at the doors one last time hoping for her to enter, before turning around to enter my class, maybe she just overslept and would come late.

As soon as the bell rang signalling the end of the first period, I couldn't take it not knowing where she is or what happened to her. These thoughts made me go out of mind with worry. Shoving my books in my bag, I ran out of the class, scanning the crowd for Harry.

As soon as I spotted him standing by his locker, I rushed towards him elbowing people out of my way. "Harry, I am going to look for Maya, she still hasn't come and I am worried", I panted trying to catch my breath. Harry smirked winking at me, "go for it my brother" , he said. I rushed out of the front door to go to her dorm room.

I knocked on the door and said, "hey Maya, you in there?" There was no reply so I knocked a little harder. For a moment, silence, then I started knocking a little harder, when I stopped I heard a loud sneeze from inside.

I turned the knob of the door to check if it's open, well it was, I crept in slowly placing my foot on the floor to prevent the creaking sound from the hardwood floor. When I peeped into her room saw her wrapped up into her blanket and tossing and turning around in discomfort.

There you go another loud sneeze and she fell off the bed! The sight was so hilarious that I burst out laughing leaning on the wall. She hurriedly untangled herself from the blanket and then looking at me through her hair on her face. "Niall are you actually skipping class?", she asked attempting to blow he hair off her face, but finally gave up, pushing it all back and tying it into a messy bun.

"I had to see why my lovely friend, who has never missed a day of college was missing today", I replied pushing off the wall and extending my hand to help her up. As helped her up, I made her sit on the bed and she sneezed again, so I quickly picked the blanket up and wrapped her around with it.

She started turning all red, I asked her concerned, "Maya, are you alright? Is there anything that I can do for you? Bring you something?" She replied sniffing her nose, "it's the allergy attacking me again"

I knew what I had to do, I guess. I immediately got up and rushed to get some hot tea for her. When I got back I saw her lying down in the starfish position under the fan rotating in full speed.

I sat beside her and waved my hand in front of her face to stop her glaring session with the ceiling. I helped her to sit up on the bed and handed her over the cup of tea. As she took the cup from me she first bought her nose in the front to take in he heat.

After she finished, she put the cup on the side table and lay down on the bed by cover herself up, "thank you Niall", she said starting to feel a little weak. I nodded my head and smiled saying, "absolutely anything for you". When I got off the bed to leave she said, "Niall you can do anything for me now right?" I nodded my head assuring her.

"Is there in anyway that you can make all of this go away?", she asked. "All you need is a kiss", I replied, and felt cheeseburgers and jelly babies in my stomach. There you go I said that to her. "It would make you sick Niall", she said coughing a little, "I would be worth it", I replied feeling a little confident this time sort of confessing my affection for her.

I lay down beside her under the sheets, wrapping her into my arms and buried my head in her neck. When I felt that she fell asleep, I brushed her hair back and leaned a little forward and kissed her on her cheeks, later whispering in her ears, "I love you"
