Chemistry

It was the same boring day, sitting in the class and waiting for the science teacher to come and begin her lessons. She would always walk in late and start lecturing us for absolutely no rhyme or reason! Besides that, the class was filled with the the most annoying students.

But only one thing , or maybe I should say one person used to distract me from all that was going on in the class , that one guy sitting in the corner of the class. Just like those typical movies, that one guy you would get lost into and all your problems resolve, but let's just deal with it this is the real world.

Suddenly we all heard Mrs. Cabot's steps approaching toward the class and she enters in with a broad smile in her face and she says - "Good Morning everyone!" and I loved the way she teaches but today she seemed really excited and I really wondered why! Niall and I were her favorite students even though Niall was dumb in chemistry!

So then Miss Cabot says - "So guys I've got some exciting news for y'all !!! we are going to do our first practicals in the lab today!!....but but wait! we're gonna have lab partners!" and the second after she finished saying that everyone in class starting booing and making noise.

she stomps her feet to the ground and says -" listen to the whole thing!...alright anyways you guys get to choose your lab partner on your own and then everybody that second started choosing their partners and I just stood there doing nothing and Mrs. Cabot says -"Hey y/n aren't you gonna choose your partner?"

Before I could say anything Niall comes up from behind and says -" I'll be y/n's partner! "

"WHATTTT" - I replied, no this couldn't have been possible! what if I mixed up the wrong solutions and blowed the lab up? what if an acid fell on me? Mrs.Cabot excitedly claps her hand and says -"oh! that would be wonderful both of my favorite students together!

Niall looks on the floor and giggles as she says that and I asked him -"what's so funny?", he looks up at me and says -"Oh absolutely nothing and one more thing I don't bite"

The students started rushing out of the class, I'd obviously waited for everyone to go out and then go out at the last so that I don't get pushed down. Finally when the whole class got out I put up my head and saw Niall standing right opposite me, my eyes widened and I said him - "what the hell on earth are you still doing here? couldn't you go and at least have gotten a place for us to sit?" 

"Hey y/n chill Mrs. Cabot anyways is going to reserve the best seats for us anyways so don't fuss , that makes you look funny , but also.."

"But also what?" - I wrapped my arms and said, "Also it makes you look kinda cute" - he stammered out, and a second later I realized my cheeks started flushing pink and I walked out of the class towards the lab well actually ran so that before Niall said anything else and I embarrass myself.

Finally we got in the lab and we all were doing the basics we had been learning for long. How to identify whether a solution was acidic or basic by using the universal indicator and then zinc powder and sodium bicarbonate. So we had the solutions in front of us and I started performing my experiments.

I saw Niall just standing right there not being able to understand and struggling in trying to mix the solutions , I showed him how to do it with one of the solution and asked him to do the rest like that and then he said -"you're really good at this y/n!!"

"Is it not pretty much evident that I enjoy doing this?"- you reply

" Doing what?" he asked in a funny and cheeky manner and then I just turn towards him and he caught me from my waist and pulls me towards him and says -"Don't you think you and I will make a perfect CHEMISTRY being like this forever?"

"Niall we're in class and we can talk about this later" , "No, I want to talk about it now" and then the next moment he started coming closer and closer and holding my waist tighter and I immediately shut my eyes so that I don't freak out. the next moment I could feel his lips pressed against mine.
